friendly staff, comfortable room

I liked how we got there and we're greeted with a smile and friendly face we arrived at 930 were due to check in at 3pm and our room was ready which was soooo good co considering we were all extremely tired could refresh and explore the place Beds were so comfortable service was great room was spotless

Hotel is very good value, decent bar and restaurant though food only OK. We had adjoining executive rooms, rooms are decent, basic enough but fine for what we needed for one night. Beds were a bit squeaky especially one of them. Soundproofing from road not the greatest, older windows. Overall a decent hotel for a short stay - we were there like many others I expect for Harry Potter studios. The exec rooms come with a later check out of 1pm which was handy.

Communication with hotel was terrible, although the reception lady ( Melissa) was excellent and sorted out the issues very efficiently.

It was clean and great location only 10 minutes from Harry Potter.

Beds were too hard for me. A bit noisy due to football fans staying at the time. Not hotels fault

The extra charge of £119 for no reason which I managed to get back with the help of Booking.com.

We didn’t use the eating facilities as we were meeting with friends who stay in Watford. The hotel was very peaceful and calm.

The bed base was all stained It is advertised as having 2 restaurants but only one was open , very limited menus , I ordered two steaks 1 rump and 1 sirloin. When they brought the steaks they couldn’t tell us which was rump or sirloin They took it back to the kitchen to find out When they brought it back everything was cold Inexperienced staff , even one if the staff said it was like faulty towers

Restaurant menu was limited and the restaurant had no atmosphere.

No parking. I had filtered for parking availability and this hotel came up in the search which is why I had booked it. Also, local alternate parking areas have height restrictions which is unsuitable for mid/large vans.

absolutely superb. very close to Watford station and also the center. room was perfectly clean and staff very nice. the bed was also extremely comfortable.

wasn’t a lot of variety for food in the restaurant.

The hotel was close to town / parking and train station, excellent location. Clean breakfast great, staff very helpful.

The room was very clean and well prepared (big thank you to the wonderful cleaning team). All staff were very friendly and the bar/food was very good.

Pillows could have been a bit softer.
