The 10th floor gave us a beautiful view of the Gulf and the sunsets were perfect! Unit could use a bit more TLC. Our clothes dryer was not working - owner did give us $25 for coin laundry - but still very inconvenient. Could use more towels - especially with the dryer issue. Refrig/Freezer and oven were not the cleanest. Kitchen & Bathroom floors needed a good scrubbing. A conveniently-located unit but the building & pool area could use a good upgrade. Above average stay but not quite as classy as pics represent.

This was our second time staying in this unit and it didn't disappoint! Was great to hear from Kent during the week as he was checking to make sure we were enjoying our stay. Only issues were visitor parking, as a construction trailer blocked several visitor spots, and one elevator was down much of the time, creating slightly longer waits to get to the 10th floor. Everything else was perfect and we looking forward to staying here in the future!

We spent a week and had a great time. The condo was very clean and great communication with owner. Loved the view from the balcony and loved the balcony closet with the skim boards, beach toys and chairs to use.

Me and my husband and 7 year old grandaughter . she had a perfect time. location perfect. . great place. I would only recommend that beach chairs where perfect. and umbrella super greatful they are there but it appears guest leave items so maybe the owner declutter the closet of some of the items that are maybe not is such great condition. to help circulate the air system.it was pretty stuffed. but. only a suggestion. and the bathroom tub, if you fill the tub. the shower still kinda sticks but again not really relavant to how beautiful the place and stay was. we where very happy and hope to come again next year. thank you for the perfect beach stay. Pool area had plenty of chairs. We had a small issue with the A/C, and host promptly had it taken care of. No other issues. We really enjoyed our stay!

Great place to stay. Didn’t speak with Kent much because it wasn’t needed. He had clear instructions and everything we needed was already taken care of. The condo was well furnished and taken care of. We would stay here again!

Beautiful condo with new updates throughout. Great location, within walking distance to so many restaurants, ice cream, shopping. We loved that the beach and pool were so close! The only downfall for us was that we were on the 10th floor, so lots of waiting for the elevator along with many other guests. We visited during peak vacation time though, so maybe this isn’t an issue outside of spring break time. Highly recommend calling ahead to rent the beach lounge chairs. This condo did have a nice stash of beach chairs and sand toys/gear that we used, but carrying them up and down was a bit cumbersome at times. Overall it was an awesome stay, would definitely come back again!

Our vacation was fantastic! The location and the view were amazing ! The condo has everything you need including beach chairs, towels etc. We took our moms with us (86 & 82) it was so easy to go to and from the beach and pool. Kent was so welcoming and he was in contact with me every step of the way. He went out of his way to accommodate us due to a health issue one of my family members. It was very hard to leave but I hope to go back soon.

The condo was just as shown and described. Beautiful views, convenient to everything. Had a few minor issues that were just coincidence during our stay and Kent replied immediately and handled it equally as quick. Great overall experience! Would stay again for sure.

The condo was perfect for our summer vacation. It was decorated with a lovely beach theme, was clean and included everything we could need. We had groceries delivered from Walmart, but Publix and Walmart were both a quick 10 minute drive for last minute needs. We cooked a few dinners in the condo and had lunch and breakfast there every day. The patio area was a favorite for morning coffee and watching for manatees and dolphins. We spent our days at the beach and it was very easy to run back up for lunch and air conditioning. Beach chairs, umbrellas, a cooler, noodles and sand toys were included. I did rent a large awning and beach wagon to carry all the gear from a local company that was delivered and picked up directly to the condo. It was a perfect week and I would definitely book again. My only issue was the third bedroom is very small and does not have a closet. A dresser is in the room for unpacking and you can easily store empty luggage under the bed.

We have been to this area several times. This was by far the best place we have stayed.
Condo was clean, up to date, well equipped and centrally located. The beach in this area is never that crowded. Water and weather were perfect the week we stayed.
Great restaurant across the street as well as a rental place for boats and water sports equipment, which we took advantage of both
Communication with the owner was outstanding.

We visit Indian Shores every year. We love the location of Sandcastle 1 and the community! The owner has the condo stocked with everything you need to feel like you are at home while being on vacation. There are sand buckets and shovels, pool noodles, skim boards, beach umbrellas, beach chairs, and a large beach blanket (heavy duty) in the storage closet on the balcony. Thus, you do need to purchase any of the aforementioned unless your kids want them for home. The beds are comfortable and the furnishings are nice and updated. If you are looking for paradise, this is it!

My sisters, daughter, and I had a wonderful time at the condo. It was amazing to have coffee on the balcony every morning with the view of the water. We had sunny weather the entire week, so we were able to spend time each day lounging at the beach and/or pool. We definitely made use of the unit's beach towels, chairs and umbrella, and contributed 4 pool noodles to the storage closet on the balcony. Caddy's across the street was a great choice for meals, as well as Jake's Coastal Cantina further north, Thai Star Cuisine and Haze Ice Cream south in Madeira Beach. Haze has dairy-free ice cream which was a huge hit for the vegan in our group! We had an amazing time at the condo and look forward to returning as soon as possible!

The condo was beautiful. It had everything you needed to start a vacation. There was plenty of beach & everyday use towels. TP, paper towels, dish soap, dishwasher detergent & detergent for laundry was all provided. It was pristine with comfortable furniture inside & on balcony. The 3rd bedroom was very small & had no closet. That’s the only negative. We love the light traffic & private beach. It would be wonderful to come back. Thank you 😊

We absolutely loved the Condo. The balcony is where we had all of our meals as a family because the sunset was so spectacular. The condo was very clean (I'm pretty picky about that).they had beach towels, beach chairs, umbrellas, and more. It was one of our favorite vacations of all time. We ranked it close to staying at the Beaches Resort in Turks and Caicos. The view was perfect. The beach and pool are beyond easily accessible. There's a cute restaurant with live music across the street that we splurged on 3 times. They pretzels, teriyaki wings, and Mahi Tacos were our faves!
The only thing that I'd say future tenants need to know is that there is no lock on the Master Bedroom door. Having children with us, the lack of the lock caused us some issues. However, overall - we will definitely be returning!

This property was very nice. The description was very accurate. The owner was very prompt at answering questions for our last minute displacement from another beach due to hurricane, and he made booming stress free. We would definitely stay here again. We did have a few minor inconveniences during our stay, not due to the condo, but there was construction all week on their building next door and the debris was constantly blowing in the pool and hot tub at our building. The pool crew cleaned first thing in the morning, but then the construction would start before the pool opened and leave a gross film before anyone even had a chance to use them. I understand that construction needs to happen, it just was unfortunate for us that it was happening at that time. Also, we went all week long with no jets in the hot tub, until on the last day, after we got out of the hot tub, and a family that had vacationed there before arrived, and they showed where the control was on the other side of the pool deck, not marked in any way. That would have been nice to know at the beginning of our stay. All in all, a very nice place and a great vacation. Thank you!

The Condo we stayed in at Sand Castle I (1007) was very nice. It had been remodeled and had upgraded amenities. No problems with the Condo at all. The owner was very responsive and kind. He listened to any concerns I had and kept me updated on results. Would highly recommend.

The view was beautiful from the top floor but the condo wasn't in great shape. Floors were dirty, found things like monopoly pieces and toothpicks under chairs in living area and filth behind the tables and beds. The walls were dirty and scratched up and what looked to be blood on the bathroom wall behind a door. Sadly our worst experience yet as we rent here every year. Dishwasher panel bottom was missing and slider door wouldn't lock. It's really a shame. There are high-end items but no warmth. It needs cleaned, painted, and some rugs to warm it up. We also found a large bug in the bathroom, hoping it was a waterbug and not a roach. Such potential but not well cared for unfortunately 😕

We came here last year for the first time and loved the area. It's beachy without being too commercial. Lots of great seafood close by and fairly quiet at night.

Our family of four really enjoyed our stay! Unit was clean. Three bedrooms with a large balcony and right on the beach made this unit a great value. Very quiet too! Only issue we had was with the cable when we first got here and Kent was prompt with troubleshooting the issue. Will definitely look to stay here again in the future.
