A propos de ce maisonrental
A jewel of a cozy cottage on the stream

The owner planted a beautiful flower garden which was very welcoming. We stayed for 2 months to avoid the high temperatures in Louisiana and we enjoyed every minute of our stay. Plenty of towels and bedding and everything we needed in the kitchen. Thank you Mary.

We stayed here for a week for our honeymoon. The house is in the perfect location. Quick walk to all shops and restaurants. The stream behind the home is so charming. It is an older home with quirks and charm, but is the perfect place to stay if you want to get the true feel of Georgetown.

A wonderfully simple restored cottage that was super cozy and comfortable, exactly what we needed for a girls getaway. Such a beautiful historic neighborhood and super nice host! Overall a great experience

We absolutely adored the house. It was perfect and just a few minutes walk into town to see all of the shops and Christmas Market festivities!

This was my 2nd time staying in Georgetown, and this cottage and location were wonderful! The kitchen is incredibly well-stocked, beds are incredibly comfortable, and the patio by the creek outside are beautiful. The cottage has all the charm (and quirks) of a historic house. I would love to stay here again!

This cottage is a cozy step back in time. It was well situated for us to stay and be a short drive to hiking trailheads. It holds some quaint furniture to add to the nostalgia of the cottage. The updated kitchen was great for home cooking, which we prefer. Plenty of utensils and supplies for food prep and feeding the family.
Loved the stream running along side of the property and the patio held comfortable chairs. The main street of Georgetown is a short walk around the corner and was enjoyable to explore. Georgetown lake and other great locals are within a short distance. The owner was easy to reach and responded quickly to my inquires.
The only things of note are that the bathtub is much smaller then expected. It is a small claw foot tub and the shower curtain clings to you as you shower. Also, the kitchen cabinets are full so there is nowhere to store dry goods or personal items.
Other than that, we enjoyed this cottage and would highly recommend it.

We enjoyed everything about our stay. Location was great, house had everything we needed. Loved the charm & quirkiness. Took us a while to figure out TV remotes. Only thing we didnt like was the bed pillows (but that's just us!)

My boyfriend and I stayed in this house for a weekend of skiing and we will definitely be back in the future! This house is an adorable, cozy place with lots of history. The location right along the creek made us wish we were there in the summer! Neither one of us have a single complaint, we loved our stay.

We had absolutely fantastic time staying at this place with our family. It was spacious, historic, beautiful house off the creek! We went skiing at 3 diffetent mountains and they all felt central from this location. Communication, cleanliness and affordability, everything was amazing. We will stay there again. Thank you.

We enjoyed another Colorado trip skiing in this great home . Tub was a little tough to shower in, but besides that the place was awesome.

This cute little house is perfectly located steps from the historic part of town. The home is comfortable and warm and a great location to stay during the Holiday Market and a short drive to the loop railroad. We really enjoyed our visit.

It is a lovely spot in very quaint Georgetown, Colorado. One of the main advantages of this place is its location. It has the lovely Clear Creek running right through the property! What a wonderful oasis to come back to & just enjoy the tranquility of the area ! We definitely will come back again if at all possible.

Renting house was new to us! It was awesome! Will do that again.

Loved the stream next to the patio. Great location and we walked everywhere. We were a bit disappointed with the town - not much to do/see but it was very relaxing. Steps on patio area need some repair for safety.

Location great! Home ok
Very mixed feelings about our stay.
Pros:
Location is absolutely perfect. Easy walk to everywhere.
House has charming bear decor.
Well stocked kitchen with everything needed for any meal prep.
Next to a rushing creek, so relaxing and beautiful, great place for wine or meal.
Responded quickly to need for hand soap and dishwasher detergent need.
Beds very comfy.
Quiet neighborhood.
Cons:
Cleaning could definitely be improved a lot.
Shower, although adorable , is very, very small after required closing of shower curtain completely around the tub, maybe 18 inches across. Strange yellow spot on shower curtain and around the bottom 😳
Internet is very slow, not a high speed. Cable speed sucks, plain and simple.
We were warned the yard was ‘wild, but she had not been here in a while’. Did not really concern us before we got there but knee to hip high weeds were a bit much.
3 of 4 stove burners smoked from grease on burner setting off the smoke detector.
Had no hot water for about 12 hours, Karen came out and flipped the electrical braker. FYI it is on the backside of the house, we had to flip it again.
We won’t rent again but will be back to Georgetown again. Love the Georgetown

Love the place. Right on a creek with a great patio. Slept like a baby after tackling the peaks and trails that are all nearby.

Very Nice House
Well equipped, lovely being by the stream, bathroom shower nice, beds very comfortable, lovely art on the walls, close to town but a nice secluded feeling to it. The back yard area could use a little sprucing up - clearing debris from the outdoor furniture (leaves, odd screen door just lying on the couch) , making the steps down to the rear yard safer. The house was a little tilted, not level, but spacious, nice dining table, temperature controls good, front porch very nice. Overall, a very sweet property.

Happy Hour by the Creek
We enjoyed another stay at this cottage and had beautiful weather, perfect for happy hour sitting next to the creek. A plus is opening the windows during the day to enjoy the sounds of the water. This is a perfect location if you like to walk into town. Thank you, Mary!

Perfect for ski/snowboard trip
12 minutes to get from Loveland parking lot to cottage, lots of early spring burbling water in S Clear Creek just outside, everything we needed - had a great time!

Relaxing cottage
Listening to sound of the river was relaxing. It was a much needed weekend away from the busy city. Great communication with the property manager.

A perfect home away from home but wish the town had more to offer.
We really enjoyed our stay! Since we spend most of our time on the mountain, we don't need much more than a comfortable place to unwind and relax. This was everything we were looking for; clean, quiet, cozy, and very well stocked to prepare our own meals and minimize common household items we might have had to buy just for the trip. The house had a large private driveway/parking area on a corner lot to make packing/unpacking easy as well as getting in and our during snowy conditions. We also had an early flight out so Georgetown was a nice location to split the drive between the airport and ski resorts.
The downside is Georgetown itself. We always try to support the local area where we stay but by the time we got off the mountain and drove back, most of the town was closed (around 5:30/6pm). We enjoyed the restaurants and two breweries that we did make it to but would have like to see what all the shops downtown had to offer. Could have been due to the holidays or just wrong season for to visit Georgetown.

Great three day get away
The location is very good with easy walking to Historic Georgetown as well as excellent driving access to I-70 and / or Guanella Pass Road. Property is located on quite neighborhood street with outdoor seating area on South Clear Creek (creeks not so quite, but still very cool and relaxing). Made for a great stay and plenty to do in and around the Georgetown area. Property owner is very nice and all communication was very timely. We would stay again anytime we are in the area.

Quiet place in a historic small town
Much better than staying in a franchise hotel if you like the feeling of being at home. Walking distance to just about everything in Georgetown, and less than an hour away from other interesting locations like Central City/Blackhawk, Mt. Evans, Golden, Denver, and of course numerous ski slopes. Hard not to enjoy!

Mountain home
Picturesque mountain home in picturesque mountain town. Right next to downtown area. Flowing stream noise next to house had me sleeping like a baby.
