The location is beautiful, with exotic plants, a little paradise. The team is welcoming and very helpfull with tips. The rooms are chic, with confortable bed, large mirror in the room (perfect for girls) and the bathroom equipped with everything. I felt save, as I was travelling alone. I would like to go back soon. I recomand this hotel.

We stayed in room 6 on the upper floor in August 2023. Excellent & friendly staff. Friendly room service staff as well. Big shoutout to Bunny (front desk), Rafi (owner) & Gabriel (front desk) for providing their best recommendations & advice during our stay! Hotel was about a 20 minute walk from downtown Tulum. However, Calle 7 (5 min walk) had plenty of food/restaurant/bar options. You can also rent scooters/bikes/ATVs nearby. We felt very safe during our stay. Great A/C in the room. We loved the natural aesthetics throughout this quaint boutique hotel. Great wifi & comfy bed. Would definitely stay again.

Not the biggest fan of the wooden floor boards in the shower. We felt that the shower took long to drain & the water would occasionally spill over.

To enjoy a week's vacation in Tulum, we decided to rent a car at the Cancun airport and stay at Hotel Terranova. It was the best decision we made! The experience at Boutique Hotel TerraNova was fantastic from the first moment! The hotel is located close enough to the center of Tulum for those who like to walk a bit (although we did use the car), but it is blessedly away from the hustle and bustle, on the edge of the jungle, allowing you to wake up with the sound of birds and made it possible to enjoy a calm and absolutely relaxing stay. The hotel space was immaculately clean, and the rooms are beautifully decorated. The hotel has an extremely friendly bar where the staff prepares excellent cocktails. And speaking of the staff… It is important to say that this is the strongest point of the hotel! I've traveled halfway around the world, but I've never come across a team so friendly and available to help you decide what to do around Tulum. Thank you very much Bani, Rafa and Gabriel! You were fantastic! It is worth mentioning that the cat Rita, also very friendly but full of personality, deserves to be considered an integral part of the team. She walks peacefully throughout the hotel and also contributes to the feeling of relaxation. And finally, many congratulations Gabriel! I hope you have a very happy birthday!

The hotel does not serve breakfast. However, there are great places to have breakfast and supermarkets within 5 minutes walking distance.

Nothing, everything was perfect!

The staff at TerraNova was very helpful and gave us great recommandations of food and activities. The area the hotel is in is also very nice, quieter than the city center but with a lot of nice restaurant close by!

The staff was so amicable and helpful. They were kind enough to show us various recommended activities and cuisine in the area. The rooms themselves were also very clean and comfortable. The location was well hidden away from annoying tourist traffic but close enough to authentic restaurants.

The walls are very thin and you can be at the mercy of how loud the neighbors decide to be. Our first night was difficult to sleep through due to raucous neighbors next door.

Terra Nova is a beautifully constructed and decorated boutique hotel in La Veleta! It is gorgeous, clean, and well taken care of. The staff go out of their way to communicate and help guests plan their stay. I loved all the trees, plants, and natural wood. Also, the location was great!

A lot of positives : - great staff, very helpful. They will give you a lot of recommendations for places to eat, and can help you with booking tours and taxis - very clean - looks very pretty overall (jungle and treehouse look) - safe area with lots of restaurants and shops - quiet - very effective A/C - big room

But some negatives : - no iron - noisy and bright A/C - the bed and pillows were VERY hard. I slept 4 nights on the couch because it was the better option (although far from ideal). I left tired

A fabulous secret behind a door, a garden like a tropical oasis, with rooms down one side and lofts at the end. very modern, with superb contemporary decor, good showers and plenty of room. very helpful staff

really, just the Wi-Fi, but I think this is more of an issue of the area being in development stage on the edge of a growing town.

Beautiful loft rooms in a garden oasis that were a wonderful escape from the heat and bustle of Tulum Town. Great restaurant recommendations from Rafael and the rest of the team!

If you don't have some sort of transport, it can feel a little far from town.

The hotel is very cozy and veeeerryyy beautiful. Everyone is sooo friendly, it felt like home, truly. Everyone with hangout for a drink or a jus or an Italian coffee (veeerrryyy important to me to have good quality coffee in the morning) that you can get delivered to your room as well. It’s 4 mins away bike from center and 20 from the beach, but it’s situated in a quiet neighborhood at the heart of La valetta which is for me the coolest neighborhood with the best restaurants and bars (better than center). I loved everything about my stay especially the staff and the Raffa the owner.. leaving was a sad moment :(

We had such a great trip and stay thanks to the hospitality of the staff and owner. They really took the time to connect with us each day make recommendations and give tips that were catered to us and our personalities. I would highly recommend this place to anyone!
