The location of the apartment was great, it was fully furnished was all amenities you would need but most of all the responsiveness of the owner. What an amazing host, she really took great care of us.

Great host - Ali was great. Could ask him any question. Amazing views from the flat, you get a beautiful sunset (sunrise is obstructed by a building nearby). Zamalek is a nice area and comfortable. There's a KFC right downstairs which is convenient (though there are not really any vegetarian options). There are convenience stalls and supermarkets nearby - Ali helped point some of them out for us. Apartment was very nice, clean, all the furniture was great (I think it has been updated since some of the earlier pictures). WiFi was great. Really it is a great place to stay, definitely recommend.

Kitchen is a bit small and the windows do need some updating as they seem quite old - just be careful when using them. Also, the lift in the building seems a bit old too so be careful. Once you get into the apartment though, you forget the busy Cairo outside and it is a nice place to stay and live from.

Clean, spacious, charming apartment with great view. Owners live a few floors below and were very responsive. Great value.

In an older building, which can show its age, but that is part of its charm.

Omar’s apartment was the perfect stay for our family’s first visit to Cairo. Located at the top of Zamalek, it was so easy to get around and take in the city. We felt very comfortable in our place. there was plenty of room for 4 adults to relax after taking in the many sites. the beds were comfortable and the bathroom spacious. The kitchen had everything for us to prepare an easy meal, snack and beverages. As a bonus we enjoyed the lovely terrace with a great view. And of course we were very appreciative of Omar checking on us to make sure everything was just right; a gracious host!

Omar and Hind were the most wonderful hosts, they really went out of their way for us. They even ordered diapers for our baby, which we needed in a hurry, just minutes before our departure for the airport, and refused to take money for them. They arranged for a private rental car and very friendly driver to take us around everywhere and they stopped by each day to bring anything we needed and address any queries. Lovely hosts who made us feel at home.

The flat and building could be modernized a little bit, but otherwise all was fine.
