owners did not answer messages, office for linen and towels was closed after 5 pm, the cabins are tiny and smelly, and you need to clean them after yourself, cabins have no water or toilets. Showers need 10 cent coins...

We had an amazing time at Winjum Cabin. It was the perfect place for a cozy weekend in the fjords. The cabin was very nice and clean and had everything we needed. The heater was working well so the environment was really cozy! Since I read the reviews before visiting I already new about the additional price for the shower and towels (we brought our own) but we found that fair. It is for sure the right place for someone who wants to have a nice adventure and feel connected with nature but is not looking for the comfort of a hotel where you don’t have to share facilities. The staff was also very nice! I really recommend this place and I would consider it again for a future vacation!

Awesome place to stay if exploring flam and surroundings - absolutely loved the view and the staff especially Alexia - she went out of her way to help us . The beautiful weather always makes your stay so much better and we were so lucky had great weather

Brilliant location

2 toilets for all females not enough. No toilet paper! Kitchen supplies too sparse in cabin. Table and chairs need maintenance. Very wobbly and nearly falling apart.

Having to pays extra for showers and only in cash with staff being present 1 to 2 hours per day only. Lots of things broken or in poor shape in the cabin and in the bathrooms. Papier/soap not refilled daily (was not done during my 3 nights stay for instance) Overall a nice facade with no consistence. You get less than expectzed for what you pay.

really cool tranquil cabins about a 10-15 minute walk outside of aurland up a hill. make sure you have supplies, though you get used to the walk.

bring your own food is best here. theres a little gastro pub about 10-15 minutes down the hill if youre desperate. they have a spar in the downtown area as well, closes kinda early.

A little bit out of town, this stunning cabin was in the perfect location for an authentic Aurland feel. Easy walk to town to get the bus to prest hike (steep but a must). The cabins had a stove so we could have our coffee and breakfast without going to the kitchen. Very relaxing and lovely stay for 2 nights

We knew about the showers and got cash at an atm and bought food from the supermarket for change for 10nok for the showers. Was really no issue for us but definitely feels outdated. The shower was very lovely otherwise

Good location right on the fjord and not far from Flåm. Cabin was very cosy and we were able to check in late.

We knew that we had to pay for towels but no one told us about the showers which were 10 NOK in cash for 5 minutes. We didn't have any cash and the reception didn't open till checkout at 10am so we were disappointed in this.

I don’t understand why we have to pay 10 NOK for the shower and why we are not told in advance. We had to go to the ATM at 10pm and then find change in a pub before we could get the kids showered.

Perfect little seating with magnificent views, all clean, simple and handy. Very comfy beds and what a comfort it was after the nights in a tent!!

The view was beautiful. It was calm and clean. We were right next to the beginning of the stegastein hiking trail.

The lack of availability and answers. I sent multiple times emails and didn't receive any answer. The showers are not free. And they inform you of that last minute. You need to pay each time for a 5 minute shower with coins (10nok only). There is no possibility to have change with them, you have to find a way yourself. Also, there aren't enough showers and toilets, only two for women and two for men. There is no facility to wash your clothes. PS: if you want change, go to the atm underneath the police station, and exchange your bills with the nearest shop.
