Very smooth communication, kind and warm host and a great apartment for fixing jetlag after a long flight.

Great Location outside of the busy streets!!

The host made an amazing local breakfast that we ate out on the veranda. The family was helpful in getting around Colombo during turbulent times.

Nice air con, comfy bed, clean room. Internet like average, just ok (dialog 4G connection).

Owner was a bit rude, as soon as we arrived first thing he asked was the cash, and he was also annoyed that we paid in the local currency rather than euro or dollars. As well, the advertised shuttle bus is not available, but luckily the area is well served by PickMe.

Wonderful house in a great location, with air conditioned bedrooms and a delicious breakfast. The housekeeper and the family were all very lovely and helpful

It would be nice to have a little more equipment in the upstairs kitchen to help eat our food if we bring it home

The room was very spacious and well maintained. The Wi-FI was good and this place was in the middle of an upscale neighborhood. The ocean literally 3 minutes walk away and you can sit by it anytime you feel like - especially late at night. The host was very nice and helpful.

Overall this place is a bit away (6-7kms) from most of the places to see in Colombo - which is not a big deal as it takes only 15 minutes to reach there. The quiet neighbourhood and facilities should be able to make up for it.

hospitable owners, really clean , spacious and aesthetically beautiful place. we got all our heavy bags lifted to our room. very tasty breakfast at the time of our choice. we got suggested many tips on what to see and how to get there around the city! ac works and a spacious balcony under the mango tree is just gorgeous

This place is a very good choice for a stay in Colombo. The villa is a very qiet place, you´ll meet a very friendly team and the rooms are nice, modern with a traditional touch. Good Wifi! Try the Sri Lankan breakfast! Best places for sunset: Mount Lavinia Beach or Galle Face Hotel. We will definitely come back next time.

Without a doubt one of my favourite places I stayed during my time in Colombo. Upon arrival, we were warmly welcomed by the staff and general manager. The staff was extremely friendly. We had two great evenings here, which obviously also added up to the experience. Our apartment was really comfortable and immaculate. We were served an excellent breakfast with warm and kind smiles. Loved it. Note, this is not a 4/5-star hotel or so, but the atmosphere is so special that it really felt like home to me. All respect for the general manager who does a great job here; a true sample of excellent hospitality! I would definitely recommend this place. Can’t wait for my next stay.

The place was a charming little Colonial style hotel with character...great air conditioning and lots of hot water...and a delicious breakfast. We stayed there just after the WHO announcement that COVID 19 was officially a pandemic. Times like these truly bring out the best and the worst in people. The owner, despite the rising panic in the area opened up his heart and his hotel to us. It will never be forgotten. Stay here when the world has recovered....you won't regret it !
