Spacious Apartment, Central Swanage close to town, sea and railway
Dans une position enviable, cet appartement au premier étage peut accueillir quatre personnes dans deux chambres et est parfaitement placé à seulement trois minutes à pied de la plage dorée et de nombreuses attractions de Swanage sur la côte jurassique du Dorset.
Parfait pour les amis ou les familles à la recherche d'une pause balnéaire, l'appartement est confortable et offre un bon mélange de commodités modernes et de meubles anciens pour assurer aux clients tout le nécessaire pour un séjour agréable.
Avec une place de parking dédiée, un jardin extérieur partagé et un feu ouvert pour des nuits d'hiver douillettes, l'appartement a un attrait toute l'année.
L'appartement se trouve dans une propriété impressionnante au premier étage en face de la gare (parfait pour les amateurs de train à vapeur et ceux qui veulent explorer la région sans voiture).
L'hébergement comprend:
• Salon avec deux canapés confortables et télévision à écran plat.
• Salle à manger spacieuse avec table et chaises pour plus de quatre chaises confortables pour se détendre devant le feu ouvert. De grandes fenêtres laissent entrer la lumière et offrent un environnement agréable pour discuter, se détendre et manger avec des vues vous permettant de voir Ballard Down et le train à vapeur.
• Cuisine bien équipée avec lave-linge, micro-ondes, lave-vaisselle, cuisinière, réfrigérateur et congélateur. Il y a aussi une table pliante avec des chaises pour profiter de votre café ou petit déjeuner le matin.
• Chambre double à l'arrière de la maison avec coiffeuse et espace pour suspendre les vêtements. Cette chambre dispose d'une salle d'eau privative avec WC et lavabo.
• Chambre à lits jumeaux flexible qui peut également être constituée en super-roi sur demande préalable. Cette chambre dispose d'une armoire, d'une coiffeuse / d'un bureau.
• Salle de bain familiale avec douche dans la baignoire, WC, lavabo et sèche-serviettes.
Dehors: Il y a un jardin avant ensoleillé où les clients peuvent s'asseoir et déguster un verre de vin. Ce jardin est partagé avec la voisine qui est fière de ses parterres de fleurs donc il ne convient pas aux jeux de ballon!

The property was absolutely perfect for what we wanted, with the added bonus of a parking space as we didn't use the car the whole time we were there!

Great apartment and central to everything

The house is very tall..3 floors and the apartment is on the second floor. The location is opposite the train station, that was a massive plus as we enjoyed watching the steam trains. It's literally a 5+10 minute walk to either the town or the beach. I can't over emphasize the beauty of the location.
The garden is well kept and contained.
The stairs are steep but that is in keeping with the age of the property, we didn't find it a problem but best to be aware.
The apartment was indeed very roomy and light and airy, it didn't feel like the normal rental, it was really just like a home.
Both bedrooms were roomy, one at the front and one ensuite at the back. If you need the bathroom at night,best to use the back room.
The kitchen was well equipped and all in all it was a pleasure to stay here.. if we return to Swanage, we'll be back!

The property is lovely and well equipped. There is a steep staircase with narrow depth stairs to the flat, which were manageable, but not ideal. There are handrails on both sides though. Great view of the station, dog friendly and close to town centre and beach. Only criticisms are lots of Nik naked which collect dust, cutlery drawer could do with a clean and a clothes horse would be useful. However beds were comfortable, lots of seating and great views. Parking space great and roomy. Would stay again.

A lovely quirky two bedroom flat in a great location. Plenty of equipment and facilities although looks tired in places and could do with some updating. In particular the sofa facing the TV definitely needs replacing, as do the curtains in the front bedroom. I’m not sure if the storage heaters work as there are radiators as well but they need some attention.
The main point though is the stairs which are steep with a narrow tread which should be mentioned in the description as they were difficult for all of us.
However, for its location, parking and amenities I would stay again.

Really lovely flat in a perfect location in the heart of Swanage.
Everything you need in this flat it has, beds comfortable and the flat doesn’t feel cramped at all.
Parking at the rear is perfect.
Highly recommend this flat.

Love this place - a little tiny bit bohemian / shabby chic - suited us perfectly!

Comfortable and convenient flat overlooking the steam railway. Well equipped and a great location- easy walk to the sea front and shops. Good living space and 2 comfortable bedrooms. Thanks for letting us stay- hoping to return for the festival next year!

We have stayed in a number of different properties in Swange and this flat was definitely well located.
It is a large flat with lovely views of the station and it was well equipped. The parking space was very useful too.
We had an issue with the boiler which the owner helped to rectify.
The only negative was the bed in the master bedroom at the back was very uncomfortable. There is a sofa bed in the lounge but this was uncomfortable too.
The beds in the front bedroom were very comfortable though.
Generally could do with updating but a nice flat in a great location.

Excellent location..close to shops, steam train, beach.
Very comfortable with everything we needed provided. Great power showers, dishwasher, washing machine, etc..

We had a lovely Bank Holiday stay. The apartment was clean and had everything we needed. It was well located to the town centre and beaches.

We had a great stay. The flat is just moments from the centre of Swanage & the beach.
The flat is bright, spacious and well equipped. It feels very homely and we had a comfortable stay. Some of the furniture could do with an upgrade. The beds were comfortable and the bathrooms were very clean.

The property is perfectly located close to the town and local supermarkets (Co-op & Budgens) short walk to the beach and seafront. We were slightly concerned by the close proximity to the steam train thinking it would be noisy, but this was not the case it was lovely looking out onto the trains.
Having the door key in a key safe was a perfect arrangement as all family members were able to come/go independently.
The location of this property is excellent, we felt very central. The layout of the property is far more spacious than the photos portray, however the twin room is a distance from the toilet during the night (along a corridor, down steps through the kitchen) which perhaps wouldn’t be ideal for young children or an elderly person.
The flat is well kitted out and all appliances are of a good standard.
At previous property’s we have appreciated finding bread/milk/butter left for us as a starter pack, this property did not supply this which is a pity as did feel it would be a nice touch particularly as due to cleaning visitors cannot access the flat until after 4pm. However, as I mentioned there is a supermarket close by.
