As described online. Great location to the beach. I would suggest that they bleach the towels as ours look very dingy even though I am sure they were clean. The one cabinet in kitchen looks like it could become detached. Great outdoor space!! Accommodating host!! Would stay again!! Thanks for a great weekend!

We had a great time and enjoyed all the amenities of the property. We visited the zoo and the beach, although it wasn’t quite beach weather but it was still fun!!

We had a great stay

I cannot say enough great things about this property and our host Cristie. We had a fantastic time at this house in Oceanside. The location is perfect! Walking distance to cute breweries/restaurants, coffee shops, parks, walking paths, surfing, and beaches. This is an ideal spot for anyone who loves and is looking to be submerged in the SoCal beach culture. The house itself is so cute, clean, and comfortable. It fit 6 adults, 2 kids, and dogs wonderfully. We enjoyed curling up and sinking into their huge couch, slept wonderfully on their cozy beds, and the highlight was sitting in the jacuzzi at night, looking at the stars, listening to the crashing waves, and soaking in that wonderful ocean air. You can literally hear the waves hitting the sand when you are outside or have the windows open. My husband is from Encinitas and has lived there most of his life. Since we moved, we travel often to North County to visit his family, this place was nostalgic for us and gave us our North County "fix". Spending a huge part of our lives in Encinitas, we love the sound of the coaster coming by, but realized that the coster is so quiet and the windows are soo good, we kept missing it as it passed by. When I asked my niece and nephew what their favorite part of the house was, they said it was their bunk beds and the video games! They loved their room and had a blast playing packman and streetfighter. Cristie was friendly, and so responsive during the booking process and our stay. She opened her home to us and help accommodate our large family of people and furbabies. We will definitely be back to stay and will forever remember all the memories we created here.

Our family spent 5 days in Oceanside and we loved the location of this property. It was spacious enough for us (five adults and 4 kids). The property owner, Christie, was quick to respond with any questions we had. We’d definitely stay here again!

Christie was great with communicating with us on any questions we had. Jacuzzi was great! Arcade games a big hit in the bunk bed room, Great outside patio in the front, very cozy and clean. Great price for the home. Would definitely book again.

We had a get short stay here. It's a short walk to great coffee in one direction and the beach in the other. The hot tub and arcade games were a big hit with the kids and the whole house was comfortable for everyone.

We had a very relaxing stay in Oceanside. This is our second time renting this property, we will be back again! Its very clean, great location easy walking distance to the ocean.

We had a wonderful time here! Amazing property. Close to beaches and shops/stores/places to eat. Very clean and tidy. Good central AC for those extra hot days! Nice big hot tub. Nice big TV. We had a group of 9 and were very comfortable. Tankless hot water heater (endless hot water) which is a must for a large group. We were all able to shower off in the outdoor showers after the beach, then come inside and use the regular shower, one after another and never run out of hot water. It was awesome! Makes me want to get one. This place really is catered to families. There is a ton of beach stuff (kid items too) you can use. There is a sippy cup in the cupboard, and there is a port a crib and high chair in the closet! Also an Xbox and games in the bunk room. The place is decorated very tastefully and almost everything is up out of a toddlers reach! Clearly the the owners had families in mind when they set the place up. It's nice not to have to be on pins and needles the whole time when you have little kids. Still gotta watch them but they have made it so much easier. Also the hosts are very nice and accommodating, we had a chance to meet them. If you have a family (or even if you don't) this is a great place to stay! Oh, I guess the only recommendation I would have is a dishwasher! But it wasn't a big deal...

We enjoyed the space of the house, the private hot tub and proximity to beaches! It was a great vacation.

This is our second stay at the beach house and we continue to find it a home away from home. So close to great restaurants and the beach! We will be back!!

The house was very nice. They’ve made some aesthetic updates that are very homey and stylish. You can sit right outside the patio and watch the sunset. It’s near a rocky beach and it isn’t ideal for elderly and small kids but Oceanside beach is right down the road. The restaurants nearby were very good. Quiet neighborhood and the train wasn’t bothersome at all. Great place to run in the morning. Owners were very responsive when we had a question. Overall a good time.

A great house in a quiet neighborhood, away from crowds but still close to everything in Oceanside and Carlsbad. Walking distance to coffee shops, a few restaurants and rocky beaches. Only a few minutes drive from sandy Carlsbad Beach and downtown Oceanside and Carlsbad. We loved the neighborhood. Very quiet. The train didn’t bother us, in fact the kids loved when it went by. Only goes by once or twice overnight. It fit our family of 5 perfectly. Adequate cooking supplies. We loved the hot tub and outdoor shower. Helpful hosts and a good guest guidebook helped make our stay easy and fun. If you want a quiet, easy place to be, but still close to everything stay here. We loved it!

Our objective was to relax and that is what this home provided! The comfortable beds, jacuzzi bike paths, walking trails to the beach all were what we had hoped for. The house is fully stocked and more! Thank you for having us we will be back!

Easy experience renting this property - email had all info we needed, owner was responsive to follow up email. Property was clean. Location is interesting, depending on what you like. Short walk over train tracks and park to get to small beach - nice amenities for its size. Park allows dogs, beach does not (except maybe mornings and evenings). Nice choice of local restaurants (we liked Flying Pig and Buccaneer Cafe). Price was a tad high for a short stay given all the fees and taxes.

This property is just what we were looking for. Close enough to make day trips to the San Diego Zoo as well as Disneyland. Property was well maintained and Christie was a pleasure to work with. Will definitely stay here again next trip.

Great location close to the beach and shops. Spacious for our large fam of 11 and a dog. The bunk room was roomy and great for the kids. Such a great Spring Break! Christie was great to work with and would love to return to her place in the future!

Our family had a absolutely great experience. This house was full of so much character and space for our family of 10 that we fell in love with it. We had no issues at all. The beach is within walking distance and the neighborhood is very quiet and secure. The home is across the street from the train but honestly we hardly heard it. The property layout was also very accommodating for our dog as well. We hope to stay here in the future. The owner Christie was very attentive to our needs and made everything so comfortable.

Worked out great for my family. The kids loved the bunk beds. Location was convenient for walking to beach, park restaurants.

Only little frustration we had we went to grill and propane ran out! Otherwise it’s a great house beautiful view of the sunset. Plenty of room for all with the outdoor space. Will definitely go back soon!! Owners were great

We had a great visit to Oceanside with the family. The house was really cute. We would not recommend it to large groups as there is only 1 shower and 2 toilets. There is an outside shower which would mostly be used for rinsing off after going to the beach. The backyard and the front of the home were fenced in which made it safe for our twin grandchildren. It is an older home so the floors creaked loudly in some areas and the beds were also very creaky. The biggest problem was that it is right across the street from the railroad tracks and being that there was a road that crossed the tracks the trains always blew their horns when approaching that intersection. The trains were too noisy for all of us and we did not get a good nights sleep while we were there. Great place for a short trip and if you are already used to so much noise.

House was very well appointed for our use. Lots of street parking, plenty of room for everyone to stretch out. Trains are loud but only occasionally and overall it wasn't a deal breaker.
