The staff are all accommodating, Cristian, Dred, Jovan and Jonathan. Thank you for making my stay the best experience! You guys rock! I also love the different activities every night, the beer pong tournament and the pub quiz which we won that game.

The staff most specially the guest experience crew Cristian, Jovan, Dredd and Jonathan they make your stay here amazing and so much fun. I had the best time everytime i stayed in mad monkey. The Receptionist stevenson is very helpful if i need some assistance. Elissa and Joseflor is very welcoming to me they become really a good friend of mine from last year i visited here theyve been really good to me. And Also Rackie for always helping me out when i need a scooter . Over all experience in the hostel is amazing and its easy to make friends most specially if you’re a solo traveler.

Stayed for a week and 1 and half day here. PROS: • Starlink wifi; sometimes strong/weak but manageable • Air conditioner & Fan • Back up generator (There was a whole day black out & Mad Monkey 💯) • Area is located in a good area with good data coverage • Comfy wide beds with 2 fluffly pillows and sturdy beds. • They're constantly upgrading the place. • Near Cloud 9 • Best hostel to socialize if you're a solo traveller • Free shots at the bar every hour until 10pm • Different activities every night • Friendly staffs (shoutout to Jonatahan, Christian, Jovan & Drei—I love you!) • Free drinking water • Unlimited tissue and handsoap • Toilet with bidet • Big parking space • Bike rental outside the hostel (there are cheaper like 300+ php but on a different rental shop) • Laundry : Outside the hostel (cheaper than Mad Monkey's) • 300 php deposit towel which will be given back after you return the towel. • 2 charging port and 1 lamp in your bed. • Free welcome drink stub SUGGESTION: • Have a Love Island Room that people can rent for 1h/2h/3h or 24h to have intimacy (They're really against having intimacy in the dorm.) • Have a bowl of free earplugs (Just like in Mad Monkey Panglao) to allow regular intimacy in regular dorms. 📍Note for the travellers: • Expect people to have sex in the dorm.

PROS/CONS (50/50) • No noise after 10 pm (residential area) • NO intimacy allowed in the rooms. (If you want, you have to book a private room or do it in the shower / avoid getting caught). If you get caught a staff will ask you out. • In relation to above, they have CCTV so they'll be watching your move especially when you're with someone. CONS • Everthing is pricey • Water shortage (happens anytime during the day/night) • Filth underneath the bed & at the sides. • Quite far from the main center, scooter is necessary. Tuktuk is 30 php during the day & 50 php at night (sometimes the drivers asks for more esp at night) • Pricey food, drinks, and tours. • Bathrooms are sometimes smelly • No privacy in the bed since the divider isn't all the way down (legs can be seen) and the curtain doesn't go all the way. • No free lock for the lockers • 1 rude night guard (Didn't get his name; He was doing his job but he could've handled it better) • No hot shower • No gym and kitchen

It was 4 days too short spent at mad monkey siargao! People were lovely and the party boat tour and monkey punch hour was fun. Dredd, Jonathan and Jem were super sweet! Thanks for a great time.

The staff are so friendly and easy to approach

The place were perfect

Great location with super welcoming staff and friends around the host. Great activities every night before heading to the party location for the day. Would also recommend jumping on the tri-island tour - very fun and relaxing day. Particular shout out to Jonathon and Christian who went above and beyond to make me feel like I was family and ensure I had a good time.

Beds are spacious, big bathrooms, few minutes walk from the surfing area.

The staff is amazing. Great social vibe. Every night there's something going on. But you can also chill in the dorm rooms and have relaxed one. Enough showers and toilets. ATM directly at the property. Big parking lot for the bikes. Security by night. They can also organise a scooter or a shuttle to the airport/pier. Big lockers in the rooms.

The pool is not the cleanest. There's no space to have a workout or a training/yoga. Not enough space to dry clothes, especially when you wash by yourself. Food and drinks are excellent, but also pricey.

awesome vibe, awesome people and staff! was the funnest week of my life! highly reccomend! big beds cold ac, quiet in rooms majority of the time! good place to party so fun!

no water often, toilets didn’t flush often and the occasional black out

the restuarant area was nicely maintained and plenty of seating area. I got a refund pretty quickly

no running water, faeces and vomit in all the toilets, no doors on some of the rooms, infrastructure of beds so poor that when one person is enjoying someone else’s company in the night (which is prohibited but still occurs as staff don’t clamp down on rules) everyone on that side of the room feels it - pretty atrocious. Staff unwilling to help when I came back from surfing at 7am and men were still drinking in the disgustingly maintained pool and calling out to me- one female member of staff just gave a look to say “well what do you expect your a female and they are drunk”. Tour organisers messed up arranging 4 people to go to the Wakepark (seems pretty easy right?). Not enough lockers in the dorms, no keys for the room, security keys anyone walk into the hostel and doesn’t clamp down on all the drunk people getting on their scooters to go into the main area. Horrific place worst hostel I have ever stayed in.

I had an amazing time there. It's a party hostel, so perfect if you travel by yourself. Shared bedroom are good and clean but most importantly the staff was amazing. Big up to Jonathan, RJ and AJ that made my stay so much fun !!

The staff makes this place so special. They are extremely helpful and fill the place with joy and laughter.

The food was quite expensive

such a big space for lots of entertainment and socializing. appreciated quiet time at 10 so you could sleep at a decent time!

location was not the best as a scooter was necessary and the pool did not look clean.

Great place to meet people, very social vibe every night. Always something happening. Dorm room had big beds and our room was actually very quiet. Location a bit out of general Luna but easy 10 min scooter.

Staff not super helpful/kinda lacklustre. Multiple times they had no water available, for like 24 hours at one point.. Have to pay for towels.

Really fun and social hostel with very clean bathrooms and massive comfy beds. Had a great time and met a lot of fun people and basically got struck on the island. Big thanks to Tyce, Jonathan, AJ, RJ and the whole customer experience team for making sure everyone was always having a great time

great parties / activities which is a great way to meet people and staff were so maxing and friendly deffo recommend as I met the most amazing people here .

Good location near cloud 9 surfing area. Have good tour options available. Food in restaurant is nice.

Bathrooms are nearly always full in the evenings and mornings. No privacy curtains on the bed and you’ve to pay P50 each for towels plus towel deposits.

Friendly staff, good vibe, you meet the best people there. Von,who works there is like the night life and activities coordinator, is a cool guy and knows the best places to go to and activities to do for a fun day+night.

Overall I liked it but my experience could have been better if every toilet was not clogged for 3 days. It was gross showering next to an overflowing clogged toilet that made each bathroom smell so bad. Out of 8 bathrooms maybe 2 was working.
