Beautiful property in a special neighborhood. Extremely well appointed and well maintained. If anything, the bedrooms are a little dim and the beds tight to the walls. But those are minor issues when one experiences the upside. Barbara and Stephen, the hosts, are on property and highly approachable. We would recommend the this unit to anyone.

We booked this VRBO for a long weekend in KC for our daughter’s birthday. We went to a concert at Arrowhead stadium, and to World’s of Fun. The location was perfect, no more than a 20” drive to everywhere we went. Costco was 5” away, and the kitchen was a wonderful place to cook for my family.
The carriage house is located in a beautiful, quiet neighborhood. The neighbors we talked to were very friendly, and it was really fun to walk the neighborhood and look at the beautiful homes following the walking tour. Even my 15yr old daughter and her friend enjoyed walking the neighborhood!!
The beds were very comfortable and the temperature of the carriage house was perfect. I only mention this because it was so hot the weekend we stayed. It was very clean, and everything we needed was thought of in advance. Barbara was wonderful to communicate with, and very accommodating. We will be back the next time an event brings us the KC!

The location couldn't be better for those wanting to explore the city while enjoying the tranquility of a residential area. We loved this carriage house! The homeowners undeniable dedication to providing the highest quality details of the Arts and Crafts architectural style is amazing. In this Vrbo rental you get all the amenities of modern day living inside a fully renovated 1890's building and in a gorgeous historic neighborhood! One of the best parts about my brother and I recent visit to KC to watch the USMNT Copa America match was the stay & accommodations at the Carriage House. We were in KC for a wedding. This carriage house was perfect for our family of four! Cute historic neighborhood which we enjoyed learning about. The location was ideal for getting down town. The house was well stocked and the beds were comfortable. The owner's live on site and were pleasant to talk to. We also appreciated being able to bring our fur babies, they loved the yard! We would definitely stay here again if travels bring us to KC!

Beautiful, clean, well stocked carriage house in Hyde Park area of Kansas City. Beautiful neighborhood, near a park, dog friendly and off street parking. There is a small garage space with an EV charger and a larger spot for SUVs. Communication with host is quick and responsive to any questions that were asked. Check in and check out was easy and uncomplicated. Highly recommend this property and would definitely stay again. Just a quick note that there are stairs to get to the unit, it is on the second floor.

This Carriage House is so unbelievably cozy, quiet and comfortable. The neighborhood is beautiful and we enjoyed daily walks around the area. So easy to get to a number of restaurants and attractions . Well decorated inside and out- the garage was a big plus also.

The carriage house sits on a beautiful property located in a convenient, historic neighborhood close to many local attractions. Communication with the hosts, the Mitchells, was clear and timely from the get-go! Arrival instructions were easy to follow and every question we had seemed to be answered before we even had to ask! The off-street parking is private and safe, and located just steps from the carriage house main entry. The living area is welcoming and homey, bedrooms are quiet and comfortable, the kitchen is well-stocked, and both bathrooms are modern and clean with all necessary items stocked. The overall renovation beautifully captures the arts and crafts style! Just beautiful.
Our favorite part was being able to sit outside on the porch/deck area each evening. Despite being located right near the main house, we truly felt like we were in our own little world. It was the perfect place for us to relax and unwind after long days of family fun. We will definitely be back!

My husband and two friends were in town for the NCAA wrestling finals. The apartments was perfect and I can’t say enough good things about the host. She provided a great cot and bedding for the third guy and when she realized they were going to be relying on Uber, she provided snacks so they didnt need to hit grocery store. The guys loved the place. Easy trip to the TMobile center and the neighborhood is gorgeous.

We were there for volleyball and it was a short drive to the convention center. The garage was convenient and a nice touch! The neighborhood offered a beautiful and historical walk. Even the neighbors we met were kind and intersting to talk to.
The house had everything! From coffee to soap, even sleeping masks! so cute! The actual architecture was very cool too!
Hope we get to stay again next year!

The Carriage House is so beautiful and very cozie. The neighborhood is gorgeous and the people were very friendly. Everything we needed was provided, there were even family games available to play if you wanted to. Our trip was a Christmas present for me from my husband and we took my parents with us, the booking and check-in process was very easy. Mrs. Mitchell was very easy to communicate with and answered all my questions in a timely manner. We all had an awesome time. We will certainly be staying again and I will recommend to our friends. My spouse and I and our adult daughter and her fiance stayed here over the Thanksgiving holiday. The location was very convenient to where our son lives in Kansas City, as well as area attractions like Crown Center, Union Station, the World War I Memorial, and the plaza.
We all enjoyed the decor and architectural details so much - it's a beautiful space and has so much for the eyes to to take in! I also appreciated the lovely kitchen, the laundry, and the EV charger.

The Carriage House was one of the best VRBOs we’ve ever had. It was clean, nicely decorated, and very well equipped from the kitchen to the books and games and wet bar. It’s a great central location to explore KC. The garage was great for our Tesla model 3 to charge each night.
