Cozy Country Farmhouse Along the Catskill Scenic Trail
Venez profiter d'un moment de détente dans notre maison de ferme rénovée confortable, situé dans les belles collines de les Catskills du Nord. Nous sommes seulement environ 3 1/2 heures de New York City, mais nous sommes vraiment un monde à part!
Pour votre groupe de six ou moins, notre maison a trois chambres, 1 salle de bain complète et 1 demi-bain avec une cuisine entièrement équipée avec à la fois une cuisinière à gaz moderne et d'une cuisinière Glenwood 1926. Il ya une salle à manger pour les repas du soir et une table confortable par le poêle à bois dans la cuisine. Ceci est une maison où vous pouvez mettre vos pieds et se détendre!
Vous verrez que notre maison est l'endroit idéal pour explorer le plein air ... que ce soit par une promenade ou une balade à vélo sur le sentier panoramique Catskill, un voyage d'une journée à Cooperstown, ou un feu de nuit dans la fosse de feu sur la colline au-dessus de la maison. Ou peut-être vous cherchez simplement à vous détendre? I had a wonderful experience in my week at the Farmhouse. Ive stayed at a good number of rentals over the years, and this is one of the very best. The house is immaculate, and so efficiently thought out. Equally compelling are the grounds - and the close proximity to the beautifull Catskill Scenic Trail. I am eagerly anticipating my next trip to the Farmhouse.

The house brought the feeling of simpler times. Well furnished with comfy beds and everything a person could need during their stay.
The dozen eggs in the fridge was an added surprise and I think the best eggs I have ever had.

We had the best time! The house was clean with comfy beds, it had all the basic supplies we needed, and had a few fun games to play and interesting books to read during the evenings. The views were beautiful and we enjoyed exploring/walking on the property. The house was close to the bookstores in Hobart as well as delicious local restaurants. The Rich Farm farmhouse was a great place to stay. 😊

We have stayed here at least once a year for as long as I can remember. It is always clean and well stocked. Our family has so many precious memories in this house. We still refer to it as “the blue house” even though it has not been blue for a very long time.

I traveled with my daughter and my dogs. We had a nice experience. The house is comfortable, I slept peacefully in the attic. We visited the caverns and the Baseball Hall of Fame.

We came for a quick trip to visit the book village. The house was great! Very close to town, and we’ll stocked and very clean. They have beautiful walking trails behind the house as well. Would definitely recommend.

We had a really nice trip to the Catskills planned, and had a great time at Barbara's home. The home was easy to find, the directions she gave were very thorough, and everything was clean/organized upon arrival. What questions we had prior to arriving were answered promptly and thoroughly.
We had everything we needed for ourselves and our little baby, and were even able to use the grill and walk around the property. The access to the Catskill Rail Trail cannot be beat, and it really is a perfect property for anyone wanting to get away for a few days.
Unfortunately we had to cut it short after one night due to a family emergency, but Barbara was very understanding and gave us a refund for the days we were unable to stay there. This was incredibly generous, and we definitely hope to be back soon.

We enjoyed our stay in this old farmhouse. It was very clean and cozy. The kitchen was beautiful and we had the most delicious farm eggs I’ve ever had provided to us. I enjoyed reading about the history of the farm, hiking on the rail trail accessible from the property and the local farmer’s market. This house was dog friendly which is much appreciated.

Love this area, so pretty even in rain and briefly snow!. Close to Dehi, well appointed, super clean, comfy and homey. A great place to stay. Next time, we will bring bikes for the bike trail! (There are bikes there)

This was a perfect little farmhouse to stay while in town for a friends wedding. It was very quiet, clean, had all amenities needed, and they allowed my dog. The fresh eggs were a real treat. The book that had all the information about the town, activities available, local farm produce, and local restaurants was wonderful. I would highly recommend! Thank you for the wonderful hospitality.

The farm house was extremely clean and cozy! Despite it being in the high 80s during our stay the house stayed pretty cool with just the fans. We loved the fresh eggs in the morning and watched the sunset on the hill across the street. Barbara, Scott and Eleanor were amazing and responded super quickly when we had a concern. Would absolutely recommend this stay, had a lovely time!

Quaint house, beautiful property on both sides of road, walking trail behind house is a big plus. Particularly gorgeous views on the hilltop across the street. Rained every day we were there, but a great time nonetheless. Internet and phone reception can be weak/limited, but that's often the case in the country. The town is just 1.5 miles away, great reception. And it's the book capital of the Catskills--7 bookstores within a couple blocks. (!)

The property was accurately described, and communication was excellent. The old farmhouse is pleasant, cozy & unpretending. The location is peaceful and beautiful, on a quiet road, tucked between hills and backing up to a rail trail that leads through farmland. The property managers are right next door if you need them, yet the feeling is of privacy and peace. Fresh eggs in the refrigerator, and an interesting history of the farm property (still in the same family more than a century!) made the stay extra special. Really, really nice.

This is a fantastic house set on a historic farm. Loved the rail trail, bikes, eggs in the fridge, and Barbara had great recommendations to make the most of the stay. It’s worth the longer drive if you’re coming from NYC than Catskills destinations farther south.
