The Campfire Cabin was so relaxing and the views were spectacular. The hobby farm is so cute with all the lambs, geese, sheep and goats. Oh - and I can’t forget the resident pups and kitty. My daughter was in heaven. The cabin was spotless and the beds were very comfortable. The kids loved having the loft to themselves. If we are ever in the area again I’d definitely stay here.

We loved staying at the campfire cabin. If you stay ask avout the farm fresh eggs before you get here. Very peaceful and relaxing evening after workand easy in and out. Very welcoming to our pets. Great sunrises and sunsets over the pond. Will stay again. The best way to go instead of a hotel.

We definitely did not allow enough time to stay. The place is so cozy and comfortable. The host was super nice. There is a great fire pit and nice large gas outdoor grill. Unfortunately, by no fault of the host, the wind was blowing at about 20 to 30 mph so we weren’t able to enjoy the outdoor grill or the fire pit, so we were a little disappointed in that. Also, the fire pit sits down below by the water in a low spot, and was fill with water. I can only imagine how pleasant it would’ve been to sit out there as the sun went down. Fortunately, our alternative was a nice deck out the back overlooking the water. The view from there is absolutely beautiful and the hosts cute little farm is an added bonus. We made friends with the baby goats and sheep and heard and saw a lot of different birds and water fowl . be sure to bring binoculars. We really enjoyed our stay.

Very cute and quiet retreat. Well appointed kitchen with basic spices. Comfy beds and linens.

Me and my family had a great time relaxing in the cabin. Everything was clean and cozy. Will come again when it will be warmer!

This is my third time at this property. It hasn't disappointed yet. Clean, cozy, and super low-key.

We wanted a weekend to just getaway and this cabin was perfect! We will book again.

My girls and I had a great time! Even though we came when there was a polar vortex moving through the area, the cozy cabin worked well for us to still do things inside. The girls loved the loft area and the kitchen was easy to use for our Cooking Badge. The table was a great size too for us to work on our Bookbinding badge. The cabin and bathroom were very clean. I could see this being a great cabin to come back to if someone needed quiet time away as it was very quiet (except for the crazy ND wind, haha!).

We stayed here for New Years just to be away from everything else. This place was easy to find and cozy comfortable. It’s ideal for a weekend hideaway or for a hunting trip!

Great cabin, excellent for our DIY Upland trips, I've usually stayed in hotels but this was far better and in a better location for us. Already booked for next year!

Great spot for a North Dakota hunting trip

My youngest son and I made our trip the Medina area and was able to stay at this location. Couldn't have asked for a better centralized location to the waterfowl hunting we planned for the week. The cabin was exactly as described. I highly recommend this location.

We had a wonderful stay at the campfire cabin! It was spacious enough for the 4 of us with 2 dogs, and we had awesome views of the prairie during sunrise/sunset. We came out to do some grouse hunting and had decent luck finding them in the area. My only suggestion to future guests would be to bring some comfy lawn chairs for the living room if you plan to relax in front of the TV at all. The dining room table is really the only spot to unwind in the living room, and the chairs can be a little uncomfortable after a full day of hunting. Other than that, I can't say enough about how much we enjoyed our stay! We will definitely be back to the campfire cabin in the future!

The wife and I brought our two dogs and stayed a couple nights with no issues. Gorgeous house and property. Even took our canoe out on the pond. No interactions with the local dog as others have stated.

The cabin was cozy, but the furniture downstairs where the tv was - were a bit uncomfortable. Definitely not a place for groups who want to chill with the tv for long periods of time. Location was beautiful!

We was looking for a place to get away from the city for a few days. It is too bad that this one is so far away. If it was closer to Omaha it could become a routine to get out of town. We wanted quiet and no phones and this was the perfect place. Bella and Oreo were pleasant to be around and a friendly face from Oreo was nice every morning. You will see us again!

This is our second year as a siblings retreat/getaway. This cabin is within our budget, within our state, and the scenery here is absolutely beautiful. The cabin inside meets all of our expectations with the exception of another bathroom would be awesome! But we make it work by taking turns-an easy fix. We will be back for our third year next July. Nice quaint place to stay for sure!

My husband and I were looking for a nice quiet place to spend some time that was dog friendly. The views were awesome and the bird watching was great. The dogs enjoyed swimming in the slough and playing fetch in the yard. It was a nice relaxing time.

Quiet relaxing mini family vacation. Very clean and cozy cabin with everything you need.

This was the most beautiful location in a perfect cabin that had everything it needed. The bonfire was great with wood available and easy access to the area to sit and enjoy the water view. There is a big deck that you can sit on and stargaze. The kitchen had everything it needed to cook a good meal and plenty of seating. Not to mention the washer and dryer was excellent to have. I will be back :)

This is a nice cabin with lots of space. Great for a family or just a couple. Would definately recommend!

Worked out great. Visited family and road a little side by side to other communities. Had to use highways due to snow, water, and mud but all worked out

Everything was just as pictured, super quaint inside the cabin! There was a sweet, but unexpected, yellow lab roaming the property and wanting attention, and dog droppings around the cabin’s porch and parking spot. We have a dog too, and if I knew there was a loose dog around we wouldn’t have stayed here. But the cabin itself is really nice; quiet and scenic.
