This is our third time staying here with our family, it's starting to become a tradition with the kids. As in the past, everything was perfect and comfortable. The house is great for kids and even larger groups. The location is perfect, a 5 min walk to the main street in Sister Bay and has everything you need for a multi-day visit. The hosts are so thoughtful and welcoming and we really feel like we're at home when we stay here. Will absolutely book again and look forward to doing so!

The property was as quaint as the photos. It was immaculate. There’s ample areas for family to gather, inside and outside. It’s a great location, walking distance to Sister Bay downtown and the beach. We had a great weekend!

Fantastic property walking distance to Sister Bay. The property has every comfort of your own home and is decorated beautifully. With several areas to entertain, rock on the porch and even have a grillout and cozy fire in the wonderfully lanscaped back yard. Stayed here for a girls getaway, the owners even left us fantastic local coffee, cute pink cherry mugs and delicious baked goods. Will be returning for sure!

It is an incredibly clean and beautiful home with everything you need. We were greeted with a locally made by as soon as we walked in, along with a full kitchen with new applicances and everything you can think of for cooking (if you choose). They even provided coffee filters and along with so many other amenities. There was a bed for all 5 of us to sleep alone and the mattresses were comfortable and bedding was perfect. We even had the retro Ms. PacMan game in our bedroom! There were several places for us to relax for a girls trip. Living room has a big tv and gas fireplace. Two different tables to play games at. Outside we loved the front porch with rocking chairs each morning with coffee and waving at some locals and tourists as they went for morning walks. The patio and deck were wonderful places for us to hang also. So many great places to sit and enjoy. Tons of outdoor games and indoor board games. The decor is so cute throughout and we can't say enough about how clean and adorable this home was for our time away! Bonus is that it is walking distance (a block) from all of the action of Sister Bay which was wonderful. The owners were above and beyond welcoming and gracious from clear communication and kindness! They also have a huge info board with tips and suggestions for Door County and the home. So well done and no wonder all of the guest comment books are so full of love and enjoyment from their home. Will definitely use again if we return!

From the moment we opened the door, we knew we were going to enjoy our stay. The description of the property and the associated positive reviews met and exceeded our expectations. This cozy property was just a short distance from main street and was ideal for our generational family of six. It was well accessorized even down to the toys and yard games for the kids. Sister Bay was a pleasurable place to visit and staying here made it even more memorable.

Loved everything about this house and the hosts were amazing! The home is beautiful and comfortable. Location is perfect. Within walking distance to shopping and restaurants in Sister Bay but just far enough off the main road to escape from the hustle and bustle. From the moment you walk into the house, you will feel the personal touches from the hosts. A lovely welcome gift, local coffee, big fluffy towels in the bathrooms and well stocked amenities just to name a few. Would definitely stay here again!

Wonderful place! Perfect spot to stay while visiting Door County area. Within walking distance to all the things to do in Sister Bay....which was nice! Fresh donuts and wine were on the table for us when we arrived.....a very nice surprise! Owners responded right away when we had a question. Thanks for letting us stay!

We had a wonderful stay in Door County. The house was impeccably clean, the kitchen was well equipped with the essentials, and there were even a few extra touches like makeup remover wipes, coffee for the coffee maker, games for the kids, and even a “welcome” gift. There are indoor eating areas, outdoor eating areas, rockers on the front porch, well working newer kitchen appliances, a fireplace in the living room, and a washer and dryer … laundry basket and detergent included. We had four adults and two children in our group, but the space could’ve accommodated another one or two adults on the living room pullout, and/or another adult or child on the futon in the upstairs area. Don’t hesitate to book, the property is great!

This was our second time visiting Door County! The first we stayed in a hotel, this trip we stayed at this beautiful home! The pics do not capture how awesome this house is! The location is the best! They have EVERYTHING you need! It’s pristine inside and out! The best is having coffee on the front porch watching and listening to the birds and calmness of the mornings! We hope to visit here again next year! Thank you again Joan and Dennis, ps the pie was an extra treat too!

We had a great stay at this property in Sister Bay, highly recommend!! Dennis and Joan made everything so easy and the house is in a perfect location. We walked to town and the beach everyday with our 2 little kids, and enjoyed the campfire with them at night. We would definitely stay here again!

I can’t even tell you how great this property is. The location is perfect and the house is beautifully decorated with everything you could possibly need. Everything is spotless, uncluttered but homely. We had an amazing time and will recommend to everyone.

Our family really enjoyed our stay in this lovely and very clean house. Dennis and Joan are amazing hosts! We enjoyed the activity of Sister Bay and the peacefulness of the house and yard; it’s rather amazing the two are separated by only a short walk. One favorite activity was sitting on the front porch watching a monarch flutter through the milkweed while our kids played games in the yard.

The house was amazing. Lot of updates and old world charm. Very clean and hosts very thoughtful they left an apple pie for us to enjoy. Also, very easy access to Sister Bay downtown so you can walk to places. We'd stay again.

Dennis & Joan are amazing hosts! We’ve rented this house twice now for our family and it doesn’t get better. The layout of the home gives everyone adequate space and it’s equipped with everything you need. The location is absolutely fantastic— you can walk to everything in sister bay. This was our second stay in this property and definitely won't be the last. This time we brought family along and everyone was impressed with the property and had an incredible time - constantly commenting how perfect the place was for our group. The house is pristine, cozy, and fully-appointed with all the amenities we needed for using the house as a home-base for our long weekend in Door County. Sister Bay is a great town and everything is walkable from this house (stores, restaurants, beach, boating) and it's centrally located if you're looking to go to the Peninsula State Park or other Door County towns. After a quick trip to the nearby grocery store (about 2 blocks away), we were able to grill out after a late afternoon arrival and kicked things off from there. We felt at home and like we were staying in a friends' house, particularly because of the thoughtful and personalized welcome gift from Dennis and Joan for our 4-year-old son, but also because of how easy they made everything. There's plenty to do at the house, plenty of places to enjoy a meal, play games, watch TV/movies, and plenty of space for a big family or group to sleep comfortably before the next day. This property is also very kid-friendly. Thanks for another great weekend!

We stayed here in July and really enjoyed it! The house is comfortable, welcoming and lovely. Everything went smooth from the time we made our reservations to the time we checked in. This house is walking distance to town and the beach. It was a great experience!

What a quant DC house in a perfect location for walking into town. This was a perfect set up for our family of 4, plus 2 grandparents. We had a lovely stay and hope to come back again next summer!

Another Great Stay!
This was our second stay here and everything was wonderful again! We travelled with our 3 young kids and my in-laws, and the property was perfect for our group. The upstairs worked well for us and the kids and my in-laws were in the main floor bedroom. We enjoyed the yard games, inside games/puzzles, dinner on the deck, and walking to all that Sister Bay has to offer (beach, playground, restaurants). The beds were very comfortable, loved the addition of the air purifiers and the new kitchen cupboards since our last visit. Would definitely stay again!

Such a wonderful home!
Me and my family had an excellent stay here! The home is so beautiful, and the owners put so much thought into making sure you have everything you need for your stay. and providing those extra touches that make you feel welcome and comfortable. The home is right around the corner from the shops and restaurants of Sister Bay and perfectly located for easily exploring other areas of Door County. We had 6 adults in our group, and although some of the beds are small in the upstairs sleeping area - it was so much fun! I will definitely be booking this house again next time I plan to visit Door County!

Great place to stay. Super clean, very close to town. Plenty of seating, huge TV, fireplace, etc. And all the “little things” done just right… From super soft towels and quality bathroom tissue to sharp kitchen knives and new (or like new) pots/pans… everything was perfect!

Excellent rental
This was a perfect rental for my family with two young kids and my parents! Location was amazing for enjoying Sister Bay. Plenty of space in upstairs area for my husband and I plus two pack n plays for our kids. Very clean, well kept property!

Lovely DCW home
We were so excited to finally return to DC after almost 2 years. This home is by far the nicest we have stayed. We loved that the home had been tastefully updated and was impeccably clean. Anything you need is provided for a very comfortable stay. It has always been my opinion that a VRBO should have all the things a hotel would offer such as towels, toilet paper, shampoo, etc. and this home had all that and more! It felt as though the home owners were having guests come to stay and they wanted to ensure their comfort. The towels and linens were excellent. The location was perfect too. It’s close enough to walk to anything you need but far enough off the beaten path that you can escape the crowd onto a tranquil front porch and deck. These homeowners have really done an exceptional job making sure we felt cared for. Thank you!!

Great Location and SO well done!
This house was perfect for my mom, two sisters and myself!!! The house is beautifully done! We loved all of the little details like the gift of apples and wine and cute Door County ornament upon arrival, the face wipes in the bathrooms, the high end linens and towels, the labeling of light switches, the cute art board with suggestions of places to shop and eat, I could go on and on. Very well done! Thanks again to Dennis and Joan for having great communication and making our first mother/daughter trip a huge success! We had so much fun in Sister Bay and the house was the Cherry on top.
