We had a wonderful time in Playacar- one of our best family vacations ever! The house was perfect for the six of us (2 parents and 4 kids ages 19,17,15,13). It’s a short walk to the beach, the pool in the back was nice, and the roof top is great for sun bathing. Sergio, the property manager met as when we checked in. He was very informative and helpful. The house was super clean and had all the amenities we needed. We had a delicious traditional Mexican dinner prepared by Sergio’s mom one evening. The only thing that I would say would be extra nice is if there could be a small cart or wagon available for renters to transport the umbrellas, chairs, and other beach equipment to the beach with greater ease. Other than that we had everything we needed!! Would absolutely love to come back!

This property is even better than the photos!! Such a great space for larger group. Giorgio was always available when needed, and Sergio (property manager) was fantastic! Would 100% rent again!

In our 2 decades of traveling with VRBO, this was the most wonderful experience we have had. The home is magnificent with lots of separate sitting areas to allow time for separateness and togetherness. The pool area is lovely and spacious -- a tranquil oasis. We loved that we could walk easily to town and to the beach. And, most of all, we appreciated the careful attention to everything provided by the manager Sergio and his staff. We were able to book private excursions through Sergio and it made all the stress of traveling to a new place disappear. We urge others not to miss arranging for a Mexican dinner in the home provided by Sergio's mother. It was a perfect way to end our perfect vacation.

We rented the villa and had six family members join us for a total of eight of us staying for a week. The house was pretty much well equipped and in a great location. Very short walk to shops, restaurants and beach. Sergio was very attentive and was quick to answer all questions and assist in anyway possible. The maid service was excellent, very thorough. This house was an absolute dream, not only the way it looks but it’s location from where everything is in playa del Carmen also. Everything is also as advertised, rooms are big and spacious, livings rooms and the out door area is also very accommodating and definitely made for big family get togethers. The pool is very nice with the added little wet bar it was just perfect. This is what I would imagine a vacation home design standard would be. You can also walk to fifth avenue in just minutes! The neighborhood is super safe and organized and very clean. When we return to playa del Carmen for vacation, we’ll definitely be booking this house again!

It’s really a beautiful place and very well located.

We have been to Cancun multiple times and stayed in resorts, but this was our first time renting a house. Our experience renting this home was very positive. Giorgio, the owner, was always quick to address any questions or concerns we had, as well as Sergio. Their prompt response, was appreciated and really showed a level of care and pride of ownership. The location of the home was perfect, near walking distance to the beach, shopping area and 5th Avenue. The house in itself is beautiful, it has beautiful decor and is well maintained. (In reality, the pictures do not reflect how beautiful the home really is). Each bedroom has its own bath. We were a group of 10- which included 3 kids, one of them an infant, it was nice that the home provided a playpen and high chair and washer/dryer to use. We all had a great time-

We loved staying at Villa La Perla Blanca and wouldn't hesitate to recommend to anyone looking for a rental home in Playacar. The home is very comfortable, large gathering spaces, large bedrooms (each with private bath) and outdoor living areas. We loved coffee and then afternoon beverages on the rooftop deck. Furnishings are new and current. House manager, Sergio, did a fantastic job- both with communication and helping us with local suggestions. He's a friendly, detail oriented manager, and we can't say enough about how he made our stay unforgettable!

If you want to feel like you are a VIP, this is place to stay! From the first inquiry to the time we left, I felt we were treated like Royalty. Giorgio, the owner was quick to respond to any questions or concerns we had. The house was spotless and we all felt extremely comfortable and extremely safe at this location. All four bedrooms have their own en-suite bathroom so NOBODY had the “worst room” because there weren’t any! Sergio, the house manager was extremely thorough, efficient and polite. We had a couple of minor glitches and Sergio was on top of them in an extremely timely manner. Sergio also set up a driver for us to visit some ruins and cenotes for a reasonable price with a very nice driver, Ramiro. We had three dinners prepared for us by Sergio’s mom and EVERY single dish was superb, matter of fact it was some of the best Mexican food we had ever had and we eat a lot of Mexican food! The housekeepers were efficient and very sweet. The rooftop was so nice as was the pool and all of the sitting areas, it was hard to choose where we wanted to be! There was plenty of room to find a quiet balcony, lounge chair or sofa for some “quiet time”. Thank you, Giorgio for hiring such a fantastic staff for your guests!

First class accommodations. Owner and local contact are readily available. PERFECT for four couples. 5 minute walk to beach and 5th street (restaurants and bars and everything else you could want). It was the perfect place to celebrate my 40th with wife and friends!

This house has it all. Each of the 4 bedrooms is stunning and spacious and each has its own bathroom. The common areas are inviting as is the outdoor spaces. The pool, although not heated, was still plenty warm for our family. There were plenty of beach chairs and coolers for our excursions. Maid service every other day was a welcome plus. But the best thing that this house has going for it is its perfect location. You are a short 5 minute walk from a beautiful, uncrowded beach. And if you like to walk to 5th avenue, as we did almost every evening, it is maybe a short 10 minutes away from the shops and restaurants. A slight negative is that it is located on a busy street. The noise bothered me when trying to sleep so I traded for a bedroom that was in the back of the house. Problem solved and no one else was bothered by it. Also, if you need anything, the contact guy there is Sergio who can coordinate what ever it is that you may need. We would definitely stay there again. Thank you Giorgio and Sergio

We had a wonderful vacation at La Villa la Perla Blanca! We had four couples and a toddler and it was the perfect set up. We were pleasantly surprised at how spacious the house was, and every couple was so impressed to have their own on-suite bathroom. The location was amazing! We walked everywhere, and felt totally safe and comfortable in the gated community. We will definitely rent this property again!

I stayed in the house for a vacation week with an extended family of 10. House was great. Location was as good as you can get in Playacar , 5 minute walk to beach and 5 minute walk to town. House was huge and perfectly maintained. I have stayed in many other homes in Playacar and this is by far my favorite. Already planning to book again for next year.

Overall the experience at La Perla Blanca was great. During the booking process, I had multiple questions and Giorgio the owner answered all of them. The booking process was very easy, online and Giorgio provided very timely confirmation. The house is exactly as pictured, 4 bedrooms and 4 baths. The house is very modern, with a washer and driver, clean sheets, and fully outfitted kitchen and grill. The private pool was wonderful and clean, and we spent a lot of time there. The pool has multi-colored party lights that kick on after dark, but they weren't too bright and didn't disturb our sleep. The location of the house was great too; about 5-10 minutes from downtown and 5-10 minutes from the beach. The only negative is that because Playacar is a residential area, there are no nearby beach clubs. But we were happy to walk into town to find those. The house is equipped with beach chairs and a cooler. The kitchen has most necessary equipment and basics, but there were a few staples that we ended up buying for the house including a corkscrew, cooking oil, etc and left there. The wifi and hot water worked great while we were there. Sergio, the house manager, was very responsive and answered all our questions. He also helped coordinate transportation and day trips via his contact. He also helped us arrange for a homecooked meal one night, cooked by his mother Laura. She is an AMAZING cook, and you should definitely ask for the chicken mole and her specialty pork dish, if you have time. If her chicken mole were packaged and available for international shipment, we would be her first customers! Absolutely no complaints. Thanks Giorgio for providing a great setting for a birthday celebration!

This property is beautifully appointed, modern, bright, spacious, and absolutely spotless. Located in Playacar Phase II, it is a two-minute walk to the beach and 10-minute walk to 5th Avenue. The villa is very large, with 4 bedrooms, each with their own ensuite bath. In addition to the kitchen, there are three living rooms, and two large balconies with outdoor furniture, not to mention the rooftop deck with daybed! There is a washing machine and dryer in the house. There are also many beach chairs, two large umbrellas and beach mats available for guests to bring to the beautiful Playacar beach. The pool is a two-minute walk from the house and it is shared by a handful of homes, although rarely busy. It is partially shaded by beautiful mature tropical trees. Giorgio, the owner, is very nice and really wants his guests to be comfortable and have a great time. This villa is his vacation home, not just a rental property, and it is beautifully furnished and decorated. Sergio, the property manager, comes by every day to answer questions. He speaks perfect English and is very helpful. The cleaning lady, Maria, comes by pretty much every other day and does a great job. There is a new shopping plaza on 10th Avenue right outside the Playacar Phase II gate (about a 5-minute walk from the house), with two excellent restaurants, Casa Miguel (a Spanish restaurant with amazing seafood paella) and Fruta Madre (great breakfasts, fresh salads, and juices), and a really nice shop that sells authentic Mexican art, textiles and pottery (Casa Ines). And 5th Avenue is just a few blocks further. Overall, this property is perfect and we would definitely return.

The fact that each room had its own king sized bed was a first for me that I had never seen and I am still dreaming about those beds, I have never slept so good in my whole life! The kitchen was great, dining room, both living rooms, etc... The boss's kids LOVED the huge day bed/futon things in the den area. The roof was a blast to hang out on, and the yard was green with huge trees and beautiful white & pink flowers. We had a bananna tree and a coconut tree, and little geckos runnin around outside. The house was a perfect distance to 5th ave, and the other shops. We walked to the Blue Parrot bar 3 nights in a row and enjoyed great food and gelato on the way there. The Beach takes 3 minutes to walk to, and the sand is the softest sand I have ever felt, and I've been all over the place. The water is a gorgeous clear blue and green, and there are tons of watersports going on. Sergio and the maid (forgive me, I never got her name) were both just wonderful and very accomodating, one of the remotes for the TV ran out of batteries and they refilled them for us! The only thing that I looked forward to and only received one of was a hot shower :( The pilot light kept going out, but we made Sergio aware and hopefully is fixed by now. Other than that, it was the best vacation we've ever been on hands down!
