It was a love gift for our pastor for their silver wedding anniversary so I requested for HAPPY’s HOMESTAY if they could greet them just a simple happy silver wedding anniversary. I was only expecting a verbal greeting upon the guests arrival; surprisingly, they rendered an extra-mile greetings with an arranged ring balloons and printed greetings. What an awesome surprise! They provided utmost service and wonderful facilities/room. By the way, I booked for a room equipped for cooking. The location seats perfectly where you can buy cheap seafoods and cook your own meals. HOMEY! Thus the name suggests HAPPY’s HOMESTAY!

I’ve stayed before and the staff and owners are all so helpful and friendly. Right on the beach, which recently is being regularly kept clean and pristine and is almost like a private beach. Will be back again for sure.

Happy Homestay is virtually on the beach - it was very windy as in March, the wind comes straight in on this side of the island. Our room was spacious and set in a little garden. The owner left free bread rolls at our door in the mornings. There's a kettle and some mugs and bowls in the room. It was good value.

The location is a bit far from White Beach which would be good except that there aren't any restaurants nearby and there aren't any cooking facilities. Access to a fridge, even communal, would have been great. Tour groups come in almost next door for lunch, but when we tried to eat there, they said they were closed

The room, Im expecting the room in the picture posted, but unfortunately it is not the way it is, we are 5pax , only 1 room which fit in only 2 pax, My father, daughter and I slept in the pull out sofa in living area , which makes us uncomfortable 😥, I didn’t take a photo, I don’t want to spoil my vacation which I planned ahead of time to celebrate my Birthday.

Very good value for money, nice big rooms, Marcus was very welcoming and gave us lots of information about getting around Boracay. Tambisaan beach is beautiful (just a little windy at this time of year!). We also had bread delivered to us each morning which was a nice touch. Only a short trike or a 30 minute walk to White Beach.

The shower was very cold - but we didn’t mind and we didn’t actually ask whether there was hot water available. The Wi-fi is intermittent.

Away from the crowd and also one of the tourist spots in boracay but you get to travel few minutes via etrike going to the white beach

I like the property because its just across the beach of Tambisaan. The unit is clean and staff was very helpful.

I was hoping that the garden view unit would have a small ref, water heater in the small bathroom and a shower curtain at least to make our toiletries less wet after bath; racks for wet clothes and towels; good towels; and floor mats too. The bigger unit’s a/c was not working well on out first night and wasnt working anymore the following night.

Room & restroom is big and clean. Owner is very kind, gave us complimentary pandesal and water. Place is quiet and relaxing.

Staff was awsome. Very responsive to our needs and quick to respond. Location is quiet and away from the noise. It's a quick trike ride to the stations and it felt homey. Felt relaxed and enjoyed my time there. Too bad it rained alot.

Not the property's fault but flooding caused no water for two days. Owner brought us water for showers and general use. Property provided drinking water. Main bed was hard for my liking but it was OK.

The best part of this stay, I would say, is the location.

I don't know what the hype is all about, but the host (Marcus) was not as welcoming as the reviews say he was. The communication before the full payment was good. After all was paid, the communication ceased. I even expressed my concern over a service I requested, which I needed to fully pay in advance, and it was just shrugged away without even an apology. This was the Boodle Fight, which we requested for 12 pm and received stone cold food at 2 pm. All the FF&Es were in very poor condition and was scary to even touch as they might just fall off, like faucets, leaking pipes, bidet etc. Despite arriving on Christmas eve, then was not even a hint of welcome or greeting from Marcus. We had no water supply every morning and my brother-in-law had to go with the caretaker and fix it. The linen had a very bad odor and were not changed until told to do so. It’s not like we stayed a night or two. We were 10 guests and stayed for 6 nights and rented almost the entire villa. Yet nothing from the so-called 'very good' host. The property did not even provide basic provisions like candles and umbrellas, as we had to stay a night without electricity due to the heavy rain. The only good part of this stay was the location. The place was serene and calm, minus the stormy wind. Apart from that, I don't believe this place is worth the price.

the property is far away from the crowd with beachfront. room is so spacious,really quiet with very relaxing area/garden. analyn, the caretaker is so helpful. there were also value add ons inside the room - full supply of drinking water, morning pandesal placed in your doorstep, some nice chips. :)

we stayed in room #2 and the bathroom smells so bad that we sometimes cant sleep well. i think its the pipes. we complained the next day and analyn was very kind in cleaning it up but the smell came back so i assume its really in the pipes… the beddings also smell, im not sure if it was properly changed, but it smelled like someone slept in it already.
