Everything was just great. Heather, the host, fabulous lady. Chatted with me, great personality. Even came and picked me up from the beach so I could get the key. Very kind lady. The room was stunning, and the big room had the ensuite. Very clean. It's lovely to have a great hot shower after being on the beach all day, fossil finding. Towels fluffy soft. Such a comfy bed, slept 😴 💤 fabulous. Everything u needed and more, in case you forgot toiletries. Breakfast, I had a great full English. Beautiful fresh fruit. Heather hadn't missed out anything for breakfast. Whatever your taste was. Heather went above and beyond for me. Especially when I booked very late. I defo will go back when I'm in the area, and I can't recommend "The Heather's B&B" more highly than I have. STUNNING Thank you Heather

property needs updating and could do with a thorough clean. Not the most hygienic in terms of freshness of towels and bedsheets etc.

Trying to get fleeced for an extra £10 less than 48 hours before arrival and the other 2 guests staying there did actually get fleeced for an extra £15 which they shouldn't have paid as they booked on Booking.com the same as we did and breakfast WAS included. See my honest review of how we were treated on Trip Advisor (with proof of the attempt to fleece me along with the good things too)

On my booking the price was £220 .not realising Heather would charge £240 as we had the onsuit room. We didn't realise it would be more than quoted.

The B&B was very lovely and confortable

Lovely lady but a little inappropriate behaviour regarding advances to my husband. At a point he felt uncomfortable. A constant comment how much she liked him.

Heather was very welcoming and her home was very clean and comfortable. The pub opposite was ideal for evening meal.

The bathroom lock didnt seem to work but felt ok as only 2 guests both with own bathroom.

It felt like home :). definitely coming back.

The host had provided all our needs & directed us to the local pub for a good meal. The location suited our needs to access Christchurch. Breakfast was varied & most acceptable, Parking was easy.

The location was as we had planned for the "Date" weekend my wife and I wanted to have. The host was engaging and offered options for our evening meals,. Upon arrival tea and cake was offered and accepted. The room met our needs except one and the bathroom was better than expected. Breakfasts satisfied us to the point we didn't need a midday snack. The number of rooms available made the stay more of a personalised stay.

The room and the bathroom were separate, which meant a quick 3 steps across the landing. If an entrance was from the room direct then that would have been excellent. We are of the age where needing to go occurs and opening and closing 2 doors could disturb the host and other guests. We think guest Wi-Fi would enhance people's stay. Finally we did notice previous "guests" drinks bottles had been left in the wardrobe. Nothing to cause concern though.

Super friendly and comfortable, lovely food, tea and extra cake, Heather went out of her way to help with any of our needs or problems,early morning or late at night, she made sure we had everything we needed. Her home was our home for the time we stayed there and would Thoroughly recommend it to our friends and family.

Well-situation, with off-street parking. The house is delightful - warm, cosy, well-appointed, and with all that one needs for a comfortable overnight stay. Heather is a delightful host, who makes wonderful breakfasts, and even provides fresh milk for cups of tea in a small fridge just adjacent to the room - a lovely touch.

Everything worked pefectly - there was nothing I didn't like.

Awkward to park at the premises itself but plenty of space on the road adjacent.

I haven't been to a B&B in years, but my guess is that you don't find many like this any more. Heather has been in the business for a long time, and knows how to run things - the rooms are clean and pleasantly furnished, the beds are comfortable and the towels and sheets beautifully laundered, and the breakfast lives up to the four star billing. Heather herself brings her personal touch - she enjoys a good chat, she is curious about her guests and full of knowledge about the area and is justifiably proud about the service she provides.

The one issue for me is the sound of cars from the street, which meant I couldn't sleep with the windows open, which I like to do - but I still slept soundly.
