Great center location.

Cold floors, not closing curtains. Strange stains on the walls. Feels a bit unwelcoming, a bit even creepy.

Great location, beautiful property but a little dated but for the money was still a bargain. The lack of a shower wasn’t great but there was a shower head as part of the bath. Owner was great and very responsive. Would stay again.

Location and price

The apartment is nicely located in the Old Town of Riga. It is easily achievable from the airport and railway station. The street is quiet and the first floor apartment is easily accessible. The interior aims to capture the 'art nouveau' style which is typical of Riga.

Although the apartment was renovated, the entrance was not, it was a bit rough. Our visit was in March and the apartment was quite cold, especially the stone floors. The only shower was in the bathroom and attached to the bath itself so washing hair was very difficult. When contacting the hosts and asking for possibility to arrive a bit earlier, their reply to us was not very polite. Although they promised to send the check-in information a day before arrival, we had to ask for it twice (also with a WhatsApp message) before we received them. Eventually we received them the previous evening. We had reserved the apartment for 5 people, yet when we arrived, beds were made only for 4 (we had to search for the extra bed and make it ourselves). A coffee machine would have been nice.

Lots of space, comfortable beds and enough cooking facilities

It was very very cold! - Whilst we fully appreciate the cost of heating little things could make a big difference. It was minus 8 but the large living room had furniture in front of the radiators and very flimsy curtains. The bedrooms also had inadequate curtains for retaining any heat. It was too cold to sit in and enjoy the apartment. I'm sure its lovely in summer. Although superficially attractive there were a couple of areas with wires coming out of the walls

Bath shower head might be a bit better. sometimes it’s switch off to main tap.

location and the size of the property

one bathroom only with a bathtub and no shower. one separate toilet and not a second full bathroom as advertised. Also the property advertised 3 bedrooms and separate loving room which was not the case as there were only 2 bedrooms and a living room with a fold open coach. was very tricky as we were six people with one bathroom and no shower.

We missed a pan and some other kitchenware. It was only 5 kitchenchairs. (We were 6 persons). 2 chairs was brooken. We thought it should be 3 bedroom. It was a sofabed in the Livingroom. The apartment was very spacy and the location was the best.

Heating was turned off and place is warn out for years.
