Style and design of the room and whole hotel. Staff is well trained and friendly. I used to stay in various locations of Kempinski chain but Riga is one of the best taking into consideration high level of services, well maintained property, location and facilities. Moreover it is my fifth or six time in this particular hotel and always returning with pleasure.

The hotel is in a perfect location for exploring Riga. The staff were excellent and facilities all 5 star. I recommend the Opera rooms that have great views and are really comfortable. The Spa was superb and had a real wow factor. Also had a great meal up in Lab 22 that had nice views of the city. I had the duck to start then rib eye with truffle fries and a chocolate bomb which was great The bartender also made a really good Old Fashioned for me. I enjoyed chatting to the staff who really made me feel welcome as a solo traveller. I can’t wait to go back again.

Proper five star hotel by the book. Fresh room and well kept common areas.

Breakfast service and selection is fine. Flavors are however lacking in hot food, slightly stale bread etc.

10 days stay. The hotel is ok. Noise problem is not solved. Сonstruction work going on at night. (Street construction work)Complaints about noise to no avail. everything else is normal. The restaurant cannot be called a Kempinski restaurant. In fact, this is a disgrace to the Kempinski chain. Breakfast is poor. Dinner in the lobby. Five meals. The quality is disgusting. Restaurant 22 st did not leave any positive opinion. With a hint of haute cuisine, disgusting ideas of gaudy fantasy. Dined in the city. Restaurant Ogle (+/-).

Just everything - its a wonderful Hotel and consistent with the standards that we have come to expect from this chain. Just 10/10, 5 stars or whatever other measure you want to apply.

The hotel was beautiful and most of the staff were very friendly and helpful.

Our room temperature was 25C (77F) for most of our stay. That was entirely too hot, it is not a good temperature for sleeping, especially when it's warm outside. The hotel advertises air conditioning and the lobby and restaurants were quite cool, but even though we asked the front desk to lower our room temperature, the lowest it hit was 24C (75F). We were told it would take time to cool it down but it dropped only 1 degree after 24 hours. I really dislike hotels that advertise air conditioned rooms, but in actuality, you can't control the temperature of your room. We only book hotels with A/C, so had I known we wouldn't actually be able to use it, I wouldn't have booked this hotel Even though we contacted the front desk twice with our request for a lower temperature, nothing was done about it, other than someone came to the room to look at it and said it was "fine".
