Fabulous cosy cottage, great facilities, and fab location for exploring the Peak District
Only slight challenge was parking on the road, but a friendly neighbour offered us a space in their small car park which was very kind

Self catering. Loads of China, mugs glasses etc. Enough dishwasher tablets provided.
Very clean. Parking OK ( we had three cars) easy to walk into Tideswell . Loved Tideswell.
Took ages to find instructions for fire etc, never did find the microwave. The rain!!

We wanted an authentic country cottage and that's what we got,,, exposed stone with warm and cozy furnishings. It was located in a small quiet village but had all the essentials; a couple of pubs, convenience store, bakery ect. We would defiantly return and use this cottage again whilst exploring more of the peak district.
We didnt experience anything negative on our trip.

Perfect 5 minutes from the village
Would have liked a bigger TV but too be honest did not watch it much while we were there so was not really a problem.

perfect location, clean cottage, comfortable seating in the lounge. Excellent for exploring cycle trails. lovely village with local pubs for food, within walking distance.

The location was perfect for all the places we wanted to visit. Set in the beutiful town of Tideswell, the cottage was within walking distance of several local pubs, bakers and a Co-Op. The cottage was well stocked with the esentials and very clean and comfortable. The downstairs shower room is amazing!
A few more toilet rolls would have been nice!

beware the small roads to get to it and where your sat nav tries to take you.

Beautiful property, tastefully decorated and very comfortable. The owners really have thought of everything. Convenient parking for one car right outside the front door. Ideally located in a pretty village with plenty of amenities. Ideal location for exploring the Peak District. We had a fabulous few days here !

The cottage is spacious and beautifully presented with lots of characterful touches. It had everything needed for our stay and it was exceptionally clean. The location of the cottage in the village was lovely and quiet. It was great that our boys had somewhere safe to store their bikes overnight. We would definitely recommend a stay here and would love to return.

Lovely cottage packed with character. Well equipped, clean & comfortable. A great location to explore Buxton & surrounding attractions.
Be aware parking can be difficult, but this is probably the case with many Peak District villages.
