The noise level - very noisy until very late, shared bathrooms, no parking

Everything about our stay was amazing however the staff were exceptional! I cannot fault the property at all it was an amazing stay.

Lovely room set up. The queen bed was very comfortable. Coffee machine and great variety of teas available.

No en-suite. Shared bathroom down the hall. No air conditioning. No hairdryer.

Facilities not as advised by booking.com. Called the week before arrival to clarify bar fridge and parking - never received a call back - was told on check-in that they are too busy to call everyone back. (all calls go straight to an answering machine, you cant call to speak to someone) Car parking is NOT across the road as advertised - 8min walk with a child - which is too far with a child, was not advised I could park in loading bay until I had already done one trip (checking in) Doing day trips and carrying bags daily back and forth was not ideal. Got absolutely drowned checking out in the rain having to walk so far. Aircon in room didn't work first day/night. It was cooler outside than in the room (30 degree day) Took 2 complaints to get it fixed. Was then offered a free meal. Lock to enter the building was painful to use and water leaked inside the entrance. Second night my daughter was in bed going to sleep and the fire alarm went off, opened the door and was told to evacuate. My daughter had a panic attack, was a very frightful experience. Once downstairs was told it was a false alarm as it was a 150 year old building. My daughter then struggled to sleep and was very unsettled.

Love staying at your property. Very nice and clean, close to everything. Great pizza and watching AO on a big screen was so good. Ethan at the reception is fabulous.

This location is exquisitely beautiful, situated directly by the water. Anthony provided exceptional service, catering to our small family of three, including a toddler. The beds are incredibly comfortable, and the ambiance strikes a perfect balance between stylishness and homeliness. The restaurant generously accommodated our various requests including nightly milk nightcap. Heartfelt thanks for a wonderful stay.

It was in a great location right close to everything

Anthony at check in was excellent at explaining everything about the hotel and room. The room was amazing for a family of 4 people. The restaurant was amazing with a table near the window to look out to sea. Food was great.

due to limited accommodation we were in the shared facilities not what I would go for so was impressed that it was tidy and had what we required. The bathrooms were tidy but could do with a upgrade.

Mentioned to manager that there was a mechanical hum under the floor which he said was likely to be the bottle shop fridges

Comfortable bed, spacious suite with everything we need. Close to cafe and beach front. We had wonderful time especially during off peak season.

the room were like jail cell, no other option when booking, paid for the more expensive $185 option, yet staff strongly trying to upsale me for upgrade for $130, said no, then persuade me upgrade for $65. Treating me like a dumb-xxx. room has absolute no sound proof. walk half of the upper floor to get to shared bathroom. Horrifying condition worse than country-side motel in China.

Food was poor and expensive. Bathroom and showerwas 100m walk from my room.

it’s the main go to venue in portsea, you go for the venue. plenty of food options

showers didn’t have enough water pressure

Stayed here as we had a wedding to go to. But would love to come back for a night away from the kids. Gorgeous room, beds very comfy. Portsea and lovely cafes on the doorstep. Loved it.

There could be noise from the pub below but we didn’t notice and it didn’t bother us!
