Location , location. Best location

Been here before. We stayed in a 2bed , 2 bathroom apartment. The main bathroom had a bath with no shower. Only one lift available throughout our stay and on one particular day, both lifts were not operating . Not very convenient if your family staying on the fourth floor with zero lift. We asked for a different apartment after three nights because the bathroom flooded and extractor system was faulty. Maintenance/house keeping was very very slow to respond and no night duty manager to address any issues. Desk staff could do with some training. Checked-out one day early from frustration.

Clean. Fresh. Warm. Spacious. Comfortable.

Reception was unapologetic and rude. Took almost 30 minutes to check us in. Apparently due to new software.

the shower is not private so difficult to shower when sharing a room. Bottle of water in room is small. Reception toilet is very dirty.. the doors are filthy

Royal Palm is a cozy heaven of comfort and bliss. I enjoyed my my stay

Breakfast terrible... All baked goods underdone. Definitely too much food out for empty hotel an hour after eating got the green apple splatters. Felt sick the entire day. Don't reheat old food!

The staff on check in were great. The ladies were also very helpful with organising an iron and ironing board. Everything was perfect in the room. It was beautiful! Will definitely stay here again

Fridge is noisy disturbing a peaceful night sleep and there was old food with fungus in the fridge, surely someone forgot it there

Beds were a bit hard , drain in the shower was blocked a bit water drained slowly but great other than that

I was upgraded to a King Suite with no charge. The wifi works properly, the rooms are clean and tidy with a microwave, fridge and desk so perfect for work travel. There is a fitness centre that is open 24/7 which allows you to work around your schedule. It is also centrally located with covered secure parking. Loved my stay here.

I love the location, very central to the places in and around Durban. I liked that the room had a lounge area as well as a kitchen area.
