The location was fantastic, very quiet during the night for sleeping. Breakfast was provided in the dining area which has beautiful decor and the view looking at Table Mountain. The staff were very helpful at all times, helping to make it a stressfree stay.
I was under the impression from the room description that there would be a mountain view which I was looking forward to. The room that I was given was downstairs at the back with no view.

Amazing location and the staff could not have gone more out of their way to make us feel at home.
Very clean and spacious rooms.
Parking should be included in the price. It’s R50 extra per day. Gym equipment could be updated.

I was under the understanding that breakfast was included in the option that I chose, but it wasn't. I don't quite recall it having been explicitly said that breakfast was not part of the package, so that was a setback.

Place was really clean and well run any issues sorted straight away. Breakfast was worth it and plentiful. The room was always cleaned.

It was my second time staying at the Cape Milner, and the hotel more than exceeded the great experience I had with them 10 years ago. The staff are incredibly friendly and accommodating, the location is great, and rooms are cozy - some with a great view of Table Mountain.

I had booked this hotel 8 times before, it was always great.
Check-in, the lady with the name "Nozipo" was hanging on the counter, then very unfriendly, and it looked like she hated white people,.... her treatment had a racist feeling.
Further, I booked one double bed, she gives us 2 single beds.
There was no sanitizer in the room, normally there is.
The complimentary bottle of water was 100% filled with tap water. their tap water has a specific taste.
One LED light above the bed stayed on, had to remove the bulb.
All was a bad impression of the normal so good run hotel. We NEVER will come back, as racism against anyone is WRONG
