Delightfully quirky and fascinating collection of antiques fill this very attractive hotel. Superbly comfortable room and exceptional breakfast buffet. Good location in Gamla Stan and only a short walk from the Tunnelbana.

We had a smell of drain in our room during the last 24 hours. I told the reception and asked them specifically to check this and revert, they never did. This experience destroyed the last part of our journey. I will never ever again stay at this hotel.

Quirky decor, friendly staff, a very comfortable bed, and excellent breakfast choices. Prime location, too.

The breakfast was fabulous. Wide variety of protein, fruit, juices, breads. A great wait to charge up.

Location is Great, It's close to everywhere. This is a boutique hotel and looks interesting from inside. The staff is very friendly. The breakfast is very good.

The towels are in bed condition and must be replaced. The coffee machine in the (dinning area) was out of order during our stay (5 nights) so the coffee served was not good.

Air conditioning could have been cooler. It was warm when we stayed. Could benefit from brighter lighting in the bathroom.

The bathroom was not cleaned well, there was hair in the shower, also, they can be more tolerable on the guests finishing their breakfast after 10, it feels like they are bouncing us out at exactly 10 o’clock. They can take out the food so you cannot eat more, but let people finish what they started.

Unique decor and atmosphere

I expected a small room.. but this was so small that two people could barely move around each other.

The hotel was very well maintained. It showed much of ships and navigation pieces and books, which is very museum-like. Unique!

We asked a question of bed type as soon as we checked-in the room and waited an hour for answer. Because we did not want to bother extra cleaning, we just stood in the room for the whole hour, and the staff kept saying they would answer in a minute!

Friendly staff, especially the guy who welcomed us when we arrived about 1am after a delayed flight. Thoughtfully designed room, super-comfortable bed, and a nice welcoming touch of a digestif on the first night. We enjoyed the hotel's 'museum' aspects, with all the items collected from Stockholm's sea-faring past. The location could not be better, very near the main sites and a short walk from a metro station. The breakfast is also fabulous: lovely fresh ingredients, a wide range of choice, and pretty good coffee.

There's hardly anything to say -- I guess a couple of drawers to put things in would have been useful. And it was disappointing not to be able to eat in either of the hotel restaurants, which were fully booked. That's a tribute to their success, of course, but it might be an idea to say on the website to book in advance if you'd like dinner. There are plenty of good other options nearby, though, and the hotel was helpful with recommendations.

Good room and bathroom size with comfortable beds

The attitude of the one lot of bar staff needs some work vs. the team led by the bar keeper with tattoos. It was just chalk and cheese. Nothing was too much for him and his team.
