I liked the location of the property and the surroundings. The restaurant and bar area was nice. The staff at the reception area was awesome and very helpful. We had an issue with the booking of the room for my friend's family (for a family of 3 they were allotted a double bed room only due to the miscommunication from Booking.com) , but Shane and Ana at the reception were extremely helpful and they managed to provide room with sofa-bed for the 2nd day. Due to long week-end the hotel was full.

The bathroom definitely needs an upgrade. The wash basin, the tub , the commode and all bathroom fittings are very very old styled and surely warrants a change. The lighting in the room also needs improvement. The carpets in the rooms as well as in the corridor need to be a little brighter and new.

De voegen en kitranden waren niet erg schoon. Het was jammer dat de parkeerkosten niet opgenomen waren in de algemene kosten. Er was een ruim parkeerterrein wat overduidelijk bij het hotel hoorde.

We had informed we had a person with mobility issues yet we were given rooms in the first floor and shower in the bath . So stay not great

Location was good easy next to motorway, plenty of parking spaces

Heating not working, room radiator not working, room a/c with heat switch off for to save money with a sign controlled centrally, staff saying warm weather gets turned off in April 🤔 don’t know what warm weather…offered oil heater which never worked properly, replaced with 2 more oil heaters didn’t even take the chill off the room, the room temp was about 7 degrees the corridors were warmer with all radiator and heating working, the room was clean but needed a lot of work a Premier inn or traveled lodge better value and quality

Die Parkplätze kosten zusätzlich, außer man schließt eine Clubmitgliedschaft ab. Die Fließen im Badezimmer waren locker und teils lose. Ebenso ist das Zimmer sehr in die Jahre gekommen.

The staff were all so friendly and kind. The pool was not too cold, there was a playground, kids eat free. Breakfast was excellent. Room was clean. It was really family friendly. Overall a fantastic stay and I would definitely recommend the place.

Have to pay for parking if you’re not a IGH member. The food at restaurant for dinner was okay but not excellent.

Comfortable room, 24 hour reception, friendly professional staff.

A basic vending machine supplying e.g. chocolate and drinks would be useful. While there are 24 hour facilities available, the options are limited.

Everything was lovely, very nice hotel. The staff were lovely too! The breakfast was amazing with lots to choose from! The swimming pool was a bonus for the kids! Rooms were nice and modern. This hotel is my husbands new choice when staying in Cambridge.

The only thing was the sofa bed was not very comfy - but they never are!!

On arrival we were checked into our room by a lovely lady called Mallika, she was extremely helpful and very polite. We enjoyed our evening meal in the restaurant and breakfast was excellent.

There wasn't much we didn't like about our stay except we were told we had to book for swimming which we were unaware of, this turned out not to be too much of a problem as we only waited 5 minutes before we were told we could enter the pool however one of the spa members of staff came across quite blunt, we didn't get his name. We were also disappointed that the hotel does not accept cash. Other than this we were happy with our stay.

Breakfast was nice overall, leisure facilities were good, freebies for IHG members, we were celebrating a big birthday and the hotel brought a free cream cakes platter to our door! Staff seemed friendly and parking was ample. The downstairs lounge area of the hotel is beautiful. Served Starbucks coffee downstairs.

The room was very run-down and ver dark. There’s no overhead lighting in the bedroom area, and the decor was very old and the paintwork and carpet were very old and damaged. The bathroom was roomy but the bath had a shower curtain and again, all very old - but I guess this is why the price was good? The coffee at breakfast was gross. I’m still to find any IHG hotel that has nice-tasting coffee at breakfast from the machine! Always tastes very chemical-ly. The hash browns were out and didn’t replenish until the end of our breakfast. There was no mocha or hot chocolate in the coffee machine, the pancake machine ran out about a half hour before the end of breakfast and wasn’t replenished - we didn’t get to have any. Plenty of options otherwise though. The pool and changing room floors were very dirty. Good facilities overall though. The hotel isn’t in the best location for anything at all - even a shop. What we tried of the food and bar were good though and there was a vending machine for all kinds of necessities downstairs. I booked two rooms under my IHG membership and only one room came with free parking for one car and robes, slippers, and feee snacks. We loved this but would have liked it in both rooms. In hindsight we would’ve gotten everyone to sign up to the free membership to get all the perks!

Overall stay was very pleasant. Facilities are great and staff was very polite. The lobby and bar area was very attarctive and comforatble.

We had to pay for parking every night which was uncalled for. We were away from the Centre of Cambrige with plenty of spaces available for parking, Hotels at this level should not be charging for parking. Dinner Menu was very basic and did nto go with the stature of the Hotel.

No bath or sink plug in rm304, too far to walk to reception to look for same. For the amount paid I thought breakfast included, at check in told was not

The room was clean and tidy to a high standard. The staff at breakfast were very friendly and the breakfast was enjoyable.

The noise levels from other guests. The hotel hosts Christmas parties, this does impact on guests who are not there for parties, the noise was at times in our rooms overwhelming, we informed reception staff who did offer to move us, but could not offer us a twin room. Therefore we could not move! We were left feeling that “party guests “ were more important. The reception, bar area was crowded with party guests this prevented us from ordering food or a drink. It would have been nice to have been offered a drink. When we checked in, we were asked if we were attending the party, when we said no, the reception staff could have said, “due to the parties the reception area /bar will be busy and you may have to wait longer than usual “ We heard another guest complaining about the room service issue they were having, they received a full apology and given cans of coke. So why were we not afforded the same respect?

Handy location. Good big room with clean linens. Bathroom relatively clean. Parts of breakfast good. Staff at breakfast welcoming. Late Check in appreciated.

Tired interior. Bathroom mould and rust. Doors all need refreshing. Carpets grubby. £5 for some water on arrival overpriced.

A couple of the male staff was good and the sauna and steam nice and its quite place to stay

Having to pay £5 pounds to park not on and and on card verification on arrival it wasn't made clear payment wasn't being taken immediately..2 guests staying only one bathrobe no body lotion not sure if worth 219 pounds

The breakfast selection was v good & nicely presented

Hotel had very good facilities and staff were very helpful. The breakfast was lovely too and there was a great choice. Town was a bit of a trek but taxis are available but can be expensive. Local bus is the best, a short walk to the bus stop and takes about 15 mins. Very reasonable price aswell. We did enjoy our stay and Cambridge is a great place. We will definitely visit again.

Thought the bar was very expensive and card only which for my self personally I didn't like. Cambridge also has lots of pubs restaurants which are also card only. It is a lovely place but it's very expensive. But they are places that are reasonably priced if you look for them.

I found the service levels in your bar area very poor. Customers are expected to place all drink and food orders at the bar, rather than being served at their tables. Why have you adopted this policy? It's not customer friendly and the team working behind the bar showed very little initiative. At one point I counted 5 people behind the bar engaged in their own "social" conversation and all the while they are ignoring everything that is going on around them. Has your business model moved away from being customer focused? If your staff were more focused and spent their time actually talking to the customers, this would change the dynamic and experience completely.
