Lovely gardens, good facilities, helpful staff. Good position for visiting relatives in Lymington. Comfortable room and facilities. Very nice breakfasts with lots of choice. Delicious Eton mess dessert.

We had one dinner in the restaurant. For the halibut main course the potato was hard under our fish. The meal lost heat quickly and sauce was a very small amount, drizzled round the plate, you could barely taste it. Felt it was rather expensive especially needing additional vegetables.

Lovely, quiet, hotel providing a wonderful and comfortable retreat in the New Forest. Beautiful gardens and a delightful swimming pool and sauna. Very tasty breakfast and lunch meals. The Stable Suite was very comfortable. Excellent parking facilities too. Staff are very friendly and helpful.

bathroom heating wasn’t very good. they promised to fix it so I’m sure it’s ok now.

Beautiful location, nice old building. Lovely Christmas decorations. The superking bed was very comfy and the big bath was a bonus. Breakfast was nice and good value for money. The gardens in the ground were a lovely surprise and really added to the experience.

Decoration in the room needs updating, offensive curtains. The wi-fi didn’t work at all in our room and staff were unable to assist. The fee for having a dog was a bit steep (£30 when most places charge £15 - £30). The NYE set dinner menu was also very pricey at £85pp and so was out of our price range. The fire alarm went off twice, once in the early hours of the morning. There was a lot of banging and crashing from neighbouring rooms/the corridor.

Located in the edge of the New Forest. Lovely gardens. Several lounge areas. Indoor pool. Excellent staff. Amazing food.

The plumbing is in need of some updating.

Personal preference the bed was a tad to hard for me but I still slept well.
