Perfect location and extremely nice pool at the edge of the most beautiful beach in Portugal. You have access directly from the site.

We have to give back the first apartment due to the very poor look and worn out conditions. We got an alternative flat, which was ok.

Proximity to the beach and boardwalk. Good choice of pools. Lovely villas and accommodation, and regular cleaning. Staff at the cliff pool bar/restaurant very pleasant.

Ants all over the kitchen worktop every morning despite keeping it spotlessly clean, seemed to be coming from behind the fridge. They were also in my sons bedroom next door to the kitchen, they appeared to be coming from a tiny hole between a floor tile and the wall. We tried plugging it but they still got through! Unkept grounds overall, compared to 5 years ago they used to be immaculate. The cliff pool toilets were often dirty with no toilet paper. The cost of the sunbeds by the cliff pool extortionate hence very few people using them and instead placing towels on the grass and wearing it away making the area unsightly.

The location is close to some wonderful beaches. The villas, the trees and the flowers are so nice integrated that you fell like you are in a story. The house is very clean, the kitchen is well equipped. You also have two pools in the area. The staff is very helpful.

They need to add sugar, salt and soap. For the price that you pay that is a must.

Excellent location on the beach. Very spacious room. Nice and clean resort.

Since hotel pool overlooking the ocean is a part of the hotel resort and located on hotel property I would not expect that a guests have to pay for using the sun beds and umbrellas.

The location was amazing, facilities second to none - 3 pools, shop and multiple restaurants. The staff in the hotel and the main hotel bar and restaurant really are so welcoming and make you feel at home. The apartments have everything you need.

It was very quiet in April when we stayed which suited us perfectly. We ate breakfast at the hotel twice and really enjoyed it.

It was pretty silly that you had to pay for sunbeds at the Atlantic pool. Everyone was seated on the grass near sunbeds. Someone was employed to make people move or pay if they went on the beds! Better to not employ them and let guests relax!

We did not have hot water for 3 days and they were not able to fix it. Also yhey did not offer any other room until I asked for it after 3 days. The quality od servise very poor. No one saying good morning or sorry for the trouble. This place has big potential but due to poor organisation and very bad quality of service it was very disappointing experience.

The kids liked the Atlantic Pool. The apartment was big but not nice.

The apartment was apparently furnished on a budget and without much love (or taste) in the early 90s and not updated since. Don’t let the pictures on booking fool you, this is not what you get. the washing machine was rusty, I burned my hand in the shower, the floor was broken everywhere, there was not a gram of salt or soap or anything that would make you feel welcome. We had to pay EUR 90 extra for the dogs with the staff neglected to tell us in the 20 minutes phone conversation we had with them prior to booking. We arrived late and had problems finding the apartment (the numbering is a little off to say the least), when we called reception for help (the property is huge, you cannot quickly go back) the person at the reception was first snappy and than said he would not know either but would ask security and call us back immediately- he never called back and we eventually found it after more than half an hour searching with tired children. The place is not dog friendly - our dogs jump out of the car without leashes once and there was a member of the staff watching us and taking down the number of the apartment. This person seemed to enjoy the little power they have. If you want a relaxed holiday with children, have a pet, or care about friendliness - this is not you place.

Second time here, love the place, its just chilled out and staff are great.

We have stayed in 2 different properties now and the mattresses are uncomfortable. It is making us consider staying elsewhere next year.

Loved this place. Clean place, polite staff, amazing beaches and views. Little out of Alvor centre but not much in a taxi and you can walk into Alvor town via the boardwalk in the evenings

Our only comment would be that the apartment should have a little more of the essential necessities including salt for example. Otherwise, a very good experience.

We had a nice Vila with a private pool

The vila was partially clean, we had to clean the floor on arrival. Cockroaches and dirty water in the pool ants everywhere, no soaps, no cleaning tables for the dishwasher, airconditioning in one room did not work, and 5 days they did not repair it. We paid like other 4 stars hotels in the area and received something that would ashamed 2 stars place.
