Great location. Comfortable bed and pillow.
Had charged credit card BEFORE we arrived even though we were to pay at venue. Room cold and took 3 hours to heat comfortably. Had to unplug the very noisy fridge.

A great property: location close to downtown, but in a residential neighborhood; very clean; room was small, but adequate. We loved the restaurant which is on 2nd floor. Great food and views.

The room, kitchenette, location and cleanliness was exceptional. I have never experienced such helpful and friendly (not just professional friendly, but genuinely "like people" friendly. It felt like home!
There was only one thing we would change: there is no grab/hand rail in the shower. Our Dad is elderly and has mobility problems so he had to use a chair for the kitchen for him to put at the end of the shower stall for him to grab when getting in/out of the shower, for safety.

The Hotel Carlton Mill was close to the Christchurch CBD (15 minute walk/3 minute drive), very quiet at night, clean apartment, amazing water pressure and the staff were very friendly and helpful. The photos don't do it justice.

Location was central to where we needed to be.
We requested car parking as we know it is difficult in that area to park. There were no carparks available as the restaurant diners were using the guests parking. This should be policed more. I was concerned as I had to park up Bealey Avenue and was worried my car would be broken in to.
