The hotel was very comfortable with great facilities and spacious rooms. Ours included a balcony that was super useful for us in trying to reorganize all the wet equipment we had from two weeks of fly fishing! All amenities were available and the staff were very helpful and friendly. Great place to stay in Christchurch.

The cost was high because there was a music festival in town and it was extremely busy--we wouldn't normally spend this much on a hotel but had no choice!

Parkplätze ausreichend vorhanden, jetzt aber nur gegen Gebühr. Trotz Voranfrage nach langem Flug, war es nicht möglich, ein Zimmer vor 15 Uhr bereit zu stellen.

The staff were very pleasant and helpful. No problem with changing rooms. Good location for visiting the city.

Had to request a room change because we initially suffered cooking smells from the kitchen below. Also had to ask for a tea towel to dry our cups and glasses and a cloth to wipe up any spills. Used trays from room service to surrounding rooms were left in the corridors overnight - with food scraps etc. Not a good look and not hygienic. We thought Bloody Mary's was overpriced.

We were very unhappy with the new charge of $20 a day to park your car in the hotel carpark especially when the car park was not full.

Room was average for the price nothing more than the basics provided for the price which was fairly medium to high end. Location was central for walking to town and the breakfast was a really good selection.

I think for the rooms location and the fact it had no outlook from the verandah the nightly charge should of been significantly lower. The verandah was covered with cigarette butts. Pillows had no filling to them needed to have at least one firm pillow for each guest.

Great place, great food and the best shower by far, will definitely come back here. Was accidentally charged even though I requested to pay at the hotel (due to currency conversion charges) however, the staff were very quick to respond and either provide a refund or provide a couple of drink vouchers.

Nothing place was spacious and pleasant to stay.

Big room, comfy bed. Nice to have laundry facilities. Nice location with the greenery.

Close enough to walk to town, good gym although we didn’t use it. Nice size room and bathroom with a tiny balcony.

The staff we sometimes a little short.

The price of the room service food for the quantity I thought was poor but that’s probably because it comes from the joining restaurant which is not cheap to eat.

There was rubbish still in the room from a previous customer

Unable to get a park on second night, as restaurant very busy. But if a pain because one of us was using a walking stick. Bit of a walk after parking car down the road.

Room really cold at night. 2 other people/other rooms also agreed. Heating didn't work adequately. Used extra blanket provided, but not enough. Breakfast for the price..have had much better. Was very disappointed overall, coffee not acceptable and food not hot. Dishes not topped up...some choices empty.
