It has been clearly renovated and kept up to date. The decor, furniture and decoration were very tastefully done.
The location is perfect!
I found it a pity that although breakfast was included, the items on the menu card came at an additional charge.
The lady I spoke to on reception about the best way to get to the Cervo restaurant, didn’t tell me about the lift. I therefore walked a long way uphill to get there!

スタッフもフレンドリーで何より食事がとても美味しい。
2食付きにしましたが大正解です。
物価の高いスイスでクオリティの高い朝食，，夕食が，いただけて大変さ満足してです。後，，プール，，スパ施設が充分で天気の悪いツェルマットではすることが何も無いので今回も悪天候の日にはスパ施設でのんびり過ごせました。至福の時間です。
ハウスキーパーが。。
ターンダウンを，してくれてるのは有難いのですが、ノック直後に扉をガチャっと開けるので返事するまもなく。
着替え中だったりごろっとしてる時などでドキッとしました。
もう少し、ノックした後時間置いて欲しいです。こんな事初めてでした。

Le personnels très serviable, à l'écoute et réactif. La piscine au top avec une bonne température. Le jacuzzi a l'extérieure également très agréable pour se détendre. Le restaurant de l'hôtel à un très bon menu et très bon.
Petit déjeuner copieux. Hôtel parfait pour fête un évènement en couple.
La ville de Zermatt top également et très calme pour bien se reposer.
Pas de commentaire pour le type de séjour éffectuer.

The pool/spa area was lovely. The beds were really comfortable and there were some cute touches such as a free bag you could use around town. Really good breakfast, and gorgeous lobby.
The bathroom was a little odd - the door for the toilet doesn't really seal, and the shower door was such that water came out into the main room. But it was still a really nice room overall!

Location and staff
Rooms were a little uncomfortable smell in the shower area however that was addressed by the staff promptly.

We loved this hotel so much, we extended our stay by an additional night. Its only a short walk from the main village and all the attractions of Zermatt. The hotel offer a free shuttle from/to the train station which is extremely handy if you have large suitcases! The facilites were excellent. The breakfast is amazing, so nice to have healthy options available. We ended up dining in both nights, taking advantage of the hotels discounted 5 course meal. All dishes were incredibly tasty, very flavoursome! I highly recommend staying here if visiting Zermatt, and hope that we can one day return!

Lovely modern alpine decor, fantastically comfy (firm) beds and lovely spa/wellness area. Dinner menu was comprehensive and varied and provided excellent vegetarian options.
The aircon ran cold then humid but fortunately it wasn’t necessary to use it much.

Good quality soaps, shampoos and lotions in bathroom. Spa massage was good.
Some guest rooms are small and quite dark. The housekeeping could be greatly improved. The breakfast buffet was only average.

Excellent location right next to the Alpin Express lift. However a while from the centre of town. The room seemed clean and tidy.
The ski lockers do not lock and the ski room for is left open. Wheel I arrived done soon had left all their gear in my locker.
The breakfast is barely edible.
Staff seem completely indifferent to my existence.

The facilities at Alpenhorf is outstanding. Their swimming pool and outdoor jacuzzi was the highlight and of my stay. They have an amazing spread of breakfast everyday.
The room is so beautiful.
I love everything except the bed is not as comfy as I expected.

Thé staff were fantastic and took good care of
me as I became poorly toward the end of my stay. the manager showed me to my room and would consistently ask if I was okay and had everything I needed! Breakfast was plentiful, I always had oats every morning which was amazing! the view, the neighbourhood, the people…everything was perfect!

Check-in set the tone. Jenny checked us in and it truley was the start of a Check-in set the tone. I travel a lot for work and I don’t normally write reviews but this hotel really deserved the effort. We were a little concerned by the term ‘wellness/spa’ as historically we associate it with over inflated egos and bad manned guests. Jenny set the tone when she checked us in and it was truly was the start of a great experience.
I’m always cautious of the photo’s of the fitness area’s I see on Booking.com because mostly they turn out to be superbly underwhelming in a tiny dull dank space with 2 or 3 poorly maintained pieces of equipment that you immediately realise are they just as a box ticking exercise. The fitness area was good, well worth bring your gear for.
It’s an easy walk to the railway station and the town centre.
The breakfast was very good, local meats and cheese and good hot food options including made to order foods.

The live music in the lounge can be heard in the restaurant, it’s not our kind of music so we choose to eat in town to avoid it. No big deal, didn't impact of stay at all but worth a mention.
