Beautiful old style villa was perfect for our 3 night stay. It was clean, the bed was very comfortable and the location was perfect. It was opposite the Lucca wall and it's only a 5 minute walk to the historic centre of town. Good communications prior to our stay. Alicia was very kind and helpful in what places to visit. There was free parking which was a great bonus. I would stay again at Villa Agnese if visiting the area.

Beautiful house and just across street from entry to Lucca

air conditioning was almost non existent and a fair amount of traffic noise as we opened windows for cooler air.

Coffee machine is available all the time🙂.Very nice staff. Green garden where you can sit down at the evening with a prosecco 🍾:-)

Not negativ,but it is worth to take into account by reservation.that some rooms facing to the main street and maybe you prefer rooms facing the garden .

Brilliant location to explore Lucca, beautiful place to run and we also got the train to Florence!

it is a beautiful Italian villa. the room was spacious and tasteful. it’s location is ideal, directly opposite the city walls,

not keen on the breakfast, but the Italians obviously eat very different breakfasts to English people.

We liked the villia &Alisia was a very good host & most helpful. We enjoyed walking into Lucca a short way into the walled town.

Breakfast was good but personally i would like fruit juice yogart & fresh fruit.

Beautiful old property, just opposite the old town. Nice breakfast highlighting what was local. Gracious and charming host/receptionist. Complimentary tea & coffee in the dining room. Outside garden area to use.

The coffee machine seemed to be a tad complicated with the receptionist having to fix it up with each guest. I mention it as one morning the we and our fellow guests had a spontaneous working group to get the coffee machine to work as various red lights lit up. All good fun but I won’t be buying that brand of coffee machine soon. A simple pod machine or even an old fashioned Birko/filter would suffice.

The villa is in a perfect location just outside the city walls. You can walk to the city centre in less than 5 min. The room was big and clean with a large and clean toilet. The bed was very comfortable. The comunication with the owner, Alicia, was perfect. She was very helpful by suggesting where to eat and what to visit. She let us leave the car on the back parking even after we checked out. Even if we didn't pay for breakfast,we could have a coffee and a slice of cake free of charge. Overall a very pleasant experience which I highly recommend.

Very nice staff! I left the key in the room and they helped us out no problem. Great location just outside of the walls of Lucca. Easy to park on site.

When guests return at night or leave in the morning, they sometimes slam the main door. But that’s not on the place, which is very nice. And the rooms themselves are quiet.

Large nicely equipped rooms with large bathroom and comfortable bed, each room has its own theme :-). Italian breakfast with fresh local products and good coffee Friendly owner that supported with questions before and during the stay. Location very near the town centre and oher facilities. Free parking at location (getting through the gate with a large car is a bit of a challenge though) The aircondition could use a check as it only just managed to keep the room cool, with 38 degrees Celsius outside temperatures this may be the limit though.
