Location was excellent.

Breakfast was poor, it had been cooked for a long time, I went down at 9.30 each morning. Whole hotel needs refurbishing it was dull and furnishings need updating.

Limited parking. Did get a space but had to wait.

Great location for walking and exploring. Close to restaurants and pubs.

Being an older building some areas have a “tired” look. This did not detract from our stay.

The place is a rabbit warren of corridors, up some stairs and then down some.

I thought it was quite expensive for what was offered but I was travelling down short notice for a hospital appointment so had little choice. I didn't arrive until 7.30pm so went straight for dinner after checking in. Next morning I went to put something in bin, but bin was already full from previous guests rubbish. Bathroom had also not been cleaned properly, shower had hairs in base & the tops of someone else's toiletries. Shower was lukewarm at best. I reported all this to the receptionist when checking out but no apology or interest offered. I certainly won't be staying again.

Staff at reception lovely, room was tired but could put up with it.

First thing l did was go to have a coffee, but unfortunately first mug l picked up had not been cleaned, coffee scumb all round inside. Also one of the cushions that had been thrown up on bed was covered in hairs. I would have complained in morning but had early checkout and no receptionist around. ( coffee took a little longer than l had hoped before a washed out kettle and the other mug.

I picked the property for the location to the train station also the tours start there also.

The room I was given had a dirty desk chair and overlooked ventilation ducts. It was a really ugly view. The room itself was dark and depressing .Other than the dirty chair the room appeared to be clean otherwise.There was not the usual toiletries in the bathroom, Only shampoo and soap, no lotion. The bed was fine to sleep in for a night . At the breakfast , the server was taking away my plates before I was done eating. He also used his fingers to put the croissants on the serving tray and not the tongs.

Cleaning needs attention. Walls, rails,surfaces were not clean. Bed and linens were fine.

Great location, lovely facade and views over river ness and Inverness castle. Loads of free on-street parking.

Ben duvet paper thin, the place generally needs freshened up and some TLC. Why is breakfast served in the banquet hall with no view whilst the bar area (with loads of tables) overlooking the castle & river is closed? Overpriced.

very expensive considering there were no options for late checkout or early checkin. Reception staff had to be prompted to look into the possibility instead of taking initiative. Having come to Inverness for the cycle race, the checkout time was way too early for even the faster cyclists to finish the cycle and get back to the hotel. Surely this should have been taken into consideration during this popular event in the town. The room was very very tired and the furniture had dirty marks all over. so much so, we didn’t want to use it. Two beds pushed together which for a suite was unacceptable and again, headboard was dirty and the divan bed bases were ugly and tired. The ironwork outside the hotel which was clearly visible from our window was broken and rusty and very run down generally. It was difficult to find our room as we were given a room number rather than our suite name so spent ages looking for it. Not enough toilet paper! Generally a bit disappointed with the £269 we paid for this room. Definitely not worth it.

The hotel location is perfect for the layout of Inverness. The room was clean and large. We did not do breakfast.

I stayed in the same hotel 20 years ago, nothing has changed, rooms are still dated, but the price has escalated. I paid £50 for the room in 2003 now its £135. Breakfast was terrible.

The breakfast was OK and the staff in the morning were friendly. The young barman was nice and chatty on the bar.

I didn't like our stay at all this time and disappointed in everything, really. From the beginning, we arrived slightly early, so I would've thought the bar would've been open since the other door to it was but seemed an effort to open it. When sitting waiting, there was like what seemed.to.be meetings n chats about the hotel n things... to me, this should be done away from residents and plenty of places within the hotel to go. The room well... I picked my husband up from work on our way through, so he needed a shower... he could barely get in as the door was hanging off, being really skinny. You can imagine it was pretty damaged. The towels smelled of onions when I used.it.in the morning, I felt dirtier after my shower. The room itself wasn't worth the money and has really went down hill... such ashame as we always went there before, never again now though. We did let the girl on the reception know n she grabbed a book, but that's as far as it went with the shower door, I'd have expected to come back to it fixed? She really shouldn't have been working as full of the cold and clearly not able to work came across as she couldn't be bothered. It's not the best stay. I won't be back. I just felt let down by it all... such a bad start to our week off of work. The beds were 2 single beds together but not the right way round so came slightly apart but would be worse without the side tables to.stop them coming apart anymore. The room was small and just didn't feel clean. The cups that were in the room for coffee had a stain on 1 of them n the bed sheet had a mark on it like glue... very dissatisfied.
