Have stayed there for years first time disappointed breakfast changed cooked only no cereals. Stayed 2 nights room not cleaned after first night..

Room was good, but I prefer a hard bed which was the only reason I did not give the accommodation excellent. I missed breakfast as I had an early start on the Sunday, but I have stayed before and can say the breakfast is excellent the previous times I have stayed.

Just the soft bed. Breakfast could be earlier on a Sunday is probably the only thing that could have made my assessment higher.

Rooms are dated but clean and comfortable. Food in restaurant was great, including breakfast.

Ensuite was very small and not really suitable if you are 'large'.

The staff were fabulous, friendly and efficient. The restaurant food was amazing and breakfast was very good with a really varied selection.

The furnishings and the decor of the room was dated and tired, were were expecting that based on reviews. The shower was scalding hot with no option to turn down, we did tell the manager so hopefully this will be attended to. The mirror in the bathroom is so high I could only see my eyes upwards, even my husband struggled to shave. Our biggest issue was the bed, it was so hard you might as well have slept on the floor. I dont mind a firm bed but this was far too hard, Such a shame as I so want to rate them highly based on their friendliness and food.

Very welcoming staff. We were travelling for a funeral and they looked after us and all the generations of our family very well. The meal in the evening was great with the small plates as we all had what we wanted.

Poor view out the window - can’t be helped. Otherwise all good.

Nice cosy hotel perfect for the solo traveller. Breakfast was a la carte and superb, served by very polite staff. Located 5 mins walk to Bromborough station. Def recommend.

The room was exceptionally beautiful and cosy; very neat all around; the bed was superb; tea, coffee making facilities were very good plus biscuits served. The bed was exceptionally comfortable. The breakfast was good.

Nothing. Because we stayed only one night, I cannot say much here. But for the one night, we were very well looked after

En suite bathroom was small. Breakfast was good but under-staffed so the poor girl serving breakfast was run off her feet and made a few mistakes. There seemed to be only one person cooking so service was on the slow side of relaxed :-)

Staff were super friendly and helpful. Room was lovely and the beds are very comfortable. I would recommend this hotel

Internal door outside bedroom squeaked and was quite loud.

Comfortable bed. Compact room and bathroom , which l prefer. Good breakfast and friendly staff.
