The staff were friendly especially during breakfast. During breakfast, there were a lot of choice for both adults and children. The location was great, around 10 minutes walk to the castle and restaurants.

My room was adjacent to the clubs which I regret, the noise was so loud I didn’t get any sleep even when the reception staff provided me with ear plugs I could still hear the music. The bathroom door was see through, every time you turn the lights on at night it illuminated the room. Not great when someone is trying to sleep.

The furniture needs to be updated, the bed and chairs are uncomfortable. The bathroom door does not give privacy

Noise isolation is not sufficient. Windows do not close enough to isolate the outside noise. You could hear police cars, traffic and nearby club, in case your sleep is light.

A lovely big room, very quiet. Staff super friendly and helpful. We had a blocked wash basin in our room, and we were moved to another room straightaway and given complimentary breakfast next morning. Breakfast was excellent, such a huge choice and very helpful staff. I even had a waiter fetch me fresh pot of tea.

Bath with shower needs a non slip area bigger & better than at present. This is especially like is you are older.

- The hotel is on a very busy and noisy main road. This meant I heard loud loud exhaust pops/bangs in the night from speeding vehicles and motorbikes. There was also a lot of noise from ambulance sirens/sirens. Fortunately, I'm a seasoned traveller so I always take ear plugs with me. Once I had them in, it was fine. The hotel does have double glazing, but it's very old and doesn't work well in terms of soundproofing.

Room was nice, was easy checking in and out on the phone. Good location.

We stayed here due to going to a concert, we got to sleep around 2am to then be woken up really early due to staff constantly going in and out of the room next to ours and letting the door slam shut each time.

Comfortable room, with all the facilities we needed, and very handy for the city centre.

The room we stayed in this time was a lot smaller than previous years. It was also located next to the loft which made it almost impossible to sleep due to the noise

Clean and for once in a hotel a comfy bed. Excellent customer service, going above and beyond to be helpful when my taxi did not arrive.

I cancelled my parking by e mail 4 days before my visit, there was no response. I phoned and spoke to reception to cancel my parking they told me not to worry. I was asked about parking when I checked in. I was asked about the parking when I checked out. Very poor communication.

The room was spacious and very clean. The main bed was very comfortable for my partner and I.

The couch bed was a little thin and not very comfortable, but since it was for my kids and they are light, it was fine for them to sleep on.

Initially the room was next to the lift so we asked to be moved, which they did and upgraded us to a King Room. Really lovely and the location was spot on. :0

Pillows were not particularly comfortable Television cut out a few times The tubing on the hand held shower had a leak which caused a bit of flooding.

The water flow in the bathtub was slow so water was building up in when having a shower. The bath shower screen is very poor, had to keep wiping the floor. There is no making on the bath taps, you can't tell which direction to turn for the hot or cold water.

Sink in bathroom too shallow No handrails on bath, causing old ones like me having a shower a deal of uncertainty On entering the car park was underlit. Also, from car park the trail of corridors to reception was kafkaesque and frightwning. Reception toilets fooled me with their black tiles and underlighting. Did not realise one of the walls was a door!
