Beautiful homely hotel with very welcoming and friendly staff

Roomside rooms slightly noisy with window open but wasn't an issue

This hotel is amazing! I can’t recommend it enough. The staff we’re very friendly and helpful. All facilities were perfect. The rooms were lovely and the beds were incredibly comfortable. I will definitely be returning

Nothing it was perfect

I loved the location, the breakfast, the most beautiful bathroom with lovely facilities.

The room was mostly quite cold as heating was hardly on however the bathroom temperature was perfect. Would have loved for you to do evening meals

Stayed here before and was extra nice this time to see restaurant/bar/reception had been renovated to a very high standard so made the stay even nicer.

The view from the room was lovely. I loved the complimentary toiletries.

There was no food served in the evening. Very limited choice at breakfast if you are vegetarian, but this can be said for the whole of Bowness. Very limited TV channels and I was unable to use my Chromcast as it was blocked by the WiFi.

situated on the outskirt of town, you can visit both Bowness and Windermere within a 5 minute walk. family room was lovely, two rooms - biggest bed I’ve ever seen in one room and loved the modern shower!

its back up the hill again after visiting the lake and town but its not that far!

Superb location. Our en-suite bedroom was stylishly decorated. Quality linen and soaps in the rooms- every detail has been thought about for guests. we asked for a room with a view and were not disappointed. Good breakfasts and the breakfast room has the most amazing view of Bowness-on-Windermere.

May be challenging for guests who find stairs /steps difficult.

Staff are very helpful, and friendly. Breakfast was very good. We loved the kipper! Our room was very comfy…we did not want to leave!

Thé street oath into the back parking area could be made a little bit wider by removing the garbage bins on the sides.

Lovely clean, comfortable room. Linen and towels were lovely, white, soft and fresh and the newly refurbished bathroom was absolutely lovely. Everything you would need in your room and plenty of coat hangers is always a plus. The room and bathroom were lovely and warm. Plenty of parking, lovely bar area which you are free to just chill in. We had Sunday lunch on our arrival which was tasty and value for money. Breakfast was a tasty clean looking full English with a choice of cereals, yogurt, toast, juices etc. Great central location between Windermere and Bowness all within walking distance. Staff were pleasant and polite and the manager Jason was very hands on and welcoming.

Everything was great. Just a shame no bar meals but there is plenty of eating places local.

Great location easy to walk to Bowness. Lovely bathroom newly refurbished. Breakfast was very nice too. Would definitely use to stay again.

Downside bar to residents shut too early, also furniture in communal area needs a refurb to match the rooms, and a couple of leaks spotted by the windows.

Room was over priced Confirmed sofa bed would be made up. It wasn’t. Heating didn’t work. It was freezing. Went to bed with Woolies on. Reception was hard to contact would ring out no answer. Requested a good will gesture on return to home. Hotel will not engage. No response.
