Location was great. But mostly the staff, service, food, and room exceeded any expectation. I would highly recommend it to those coming to the Amalfi area.

BRRRRRAAAAAVO!!! Im going to fall well short of the review this hotel/ Luxury Apartment deserves as there's truly no way to articulate all of it on one review. But here goes!!! My wife and I decided to vacation on the Amalfi Coast for our honeymoon. I am from the US (of Italian descent) and my wife is from Palermo Sicily. This was our second trip to Italy as a couple. Due to life circumstances we booked our trip only two months ahead of time and lost out on finding availability in good hotels in Sorrento, Amalfi, Positano etc. So we chose Cubo Apartments for the perceived value, photos and reviews posted online by others, and the fact that it's not to far from Sorrento by car. I was intially upset because I wanted to stay in Sorrento. Well, I had to own my poor attitude and suck it up when I got here as I was immediately ecstatic that we chose this location. First of all, it's technically an apartment building but with 4-5 star hotel service. Full bar, free breakfast, sushi and dinner available on site starting back up in the summer. This is NOT some air BnB type rental location. This is a very clean, modern, family run location where you have any number of family members at your service at any time of the day to provide anything you need. I learned that the building supported American Troops during WWII, was bult around 1930ish. This building has been in the family since then but by the looks of the modern structure and decor, you would think it was built in the last decade. The building has an elevator for persons requiring elevator service. The entire family provides nothing short of first class service. The owner, Anna, goes the great lengths to ensure you never starve, always offering meals or small dishes from her kitchen. Anna is everyone's mother when you arrive, and she will cook for you utilizing her traditional family recipes that will make your mouth water.

Cubo Apartments in Vico Equense was the perfect spot to experience southern Italy!! Close to great restaurants, Naples airport, and the attractions of the Sorrento & Amalfi coast. Anna and her family took care of our every need, provided a delicious breakfast (homemade everything) every morning, and went out of their way to make our vacation amazing!! We were in the apartment on the top floor and the view was incredible!! We were so happy we booked this property to experience Italy!! If you are looking to experience Italy without being overrun by other tourists (Positano & Amalfi), this is the perfect property!!

Can’t think of anything at all!!

Everything is well planned to have a comfortable stay, apartment has a separate laundry room with all necessities to wash, dry and iron clothes. Amazing shower gel and shampoo. Kitchen has all required to cook food. Smart lightening system. Apartment is suitable for longer stays. It is in good condition and all very clean.

Accommodation in Italy is a bit pricey comparing to visiting other countries.

Great location with everything is within walking distance. The hosts here are fabulous and happy to give recommendations. We hired a scooter to get around which was beneficial as it is very hilly.

My 3rd time in this hotel , family owned, Ana and her family are great host . Attention to every details. Breakfast is simple , fresh fruits and vegetables from Ana’s farm for a tasty omelette. Comfortable facility, location is great , the view on Naples’s golf is breath taking , we will be back !

A family operated facility with several apartments and a private restaurant. The atmosphere was cozy and we felt like a part of the family ❤️ The breakfast was delicious. You could request anything from scrambled eggs to omelett ❤️ And of course home made pastry by the master chef in the family. The service was excellent, and the host was available to assist us with any types of questions. We used Whatsapp for questions, and he replied with everything from train schedules to links to websites. Very flexible.😊 The whole building, including the apartments, were recently remodeled in a minimalistic style. Meaning that everything is new 👍 There is a parking garage 50m from the apartments, with discounted prices. Train station is a 5 min walk if you want to take the train to Sorrento, Pompeii or Napoli. The nearest beach is a 15 min walk. Just be prepared that you have rent sunbeds to take a swim in the ocean. We are not used to that, but that is how it works here..

I like the size . Location was good for budget and if you have a car and a good plan. This area makes more sense to stay than others. The check in and check out was easy. The gentleman who got us in was caring even though we did not get the full services during our stay. Breakfast was basic but still nice.

It could be cleaner. it needs more attention. The TV does not have any english speaking channels. Bathroom is very tiny compared to the size of the apartment. Booking.com did not show precise pictures of the rooms of which is sea view and which are not. It was a guess game. And there was no way to know whether you have a Sea view or not.

Everything is brilliant! The room is well cleaned and very beautiful with the view. The staff is so warm hearted! My friend and I really enjoyed the time in the apartment.

Initially, we were impressed by the size of the room, how clean it was and the great facilities but that is only a small part of the story. Cubo apartments is run by the lovely Anna and her family and they are the real prize here. You cannot expect to have a better host then them. Whatever request we made (no matter how minor) got handled almost immediately. Since our little kid (4 year old) asked for Pasta Ragu alla Bolognese, Anna felt compelled to have us try the Neapolitan version and served us an incredible dinner which was by far the best and tastiest dinning experience we had in the entire trip.

That our Italian was not good enough as it is a very attractive language

Owners were really kind and took good care of uds. Apartments are fantastic and very comfortable. If by any chance you stay there ask them to ccok for you their amazing home made italian food.

We loved it here. We had a room with an exceptional view of the bay and it was perfect. The apartment was spacious and clean with a lovely feel.

Although breakfast was lovely we were a bit let down with the coffee! Plus we also had a bit of a drain smell while we were there. We put this down to being at the end of the season??

Federico, Alessandra and Anna were incredible during our trip, amazingly helpful and willing to go out of their way to accommodate. We arrived very late, and Federico was more than happy to stay late to ensure we could get our keys and was available even through WhatsApp during the trip for advice, booking help etc. Wonderful location, sea views of Naples and Vesuvius are breathtaking. We were offered a free upgrade to the penthouse on arrival which made the trip and views more special. Breakfast was excellent coffee and Anna’s homemade pastries, very delicious. Location was close to everything and within 3 minutes walk of the train station. Travelling for years and can safely state this is one of the best locations I have ever stayed. The trip was not long enough, we will definitely be back again.

Fabulous accommodation in the most beautiful location. The apartment was spacious, immaculate & finished to a high standard. The view from the terraces were amazing. Federico was extremely attentive & helped us with any requests - booking transfers & local tours. We had the most delicious breakfast served to us every morning by a very friendly host. The apartment is very centrally located & only a few minutes walk to the train & bus station. Sorrento is only 5 stops away so a great base for exploring the region. In the area itself, there are many fabulous restaurants & a beautiful beach. Highly recommend & thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Everything about the apartment was phenomenal. I loved the small touches in the apartment, such as the popcorn machine, ground coffee / espresso grounds, and the cleanliness was beyond my expectations.

There was nothing not to like. Everything was beautiful and organized.

Chocking Location ! Sud of Italy, Vico equense and NAPOLI are the most wonderful country in the world. Must see and must enjoy!

We were upgraded! The room was great and the view toward Mt Vesuvius was amazing. Bedding was also of good quality. Thanks for a great if only brief stay.

There was some confusion about whether breakfast was included in our rate. I paid about €10 more than the base rate for a rate which made some reference to breakfast. Breakfast was not included so I'm not really sure what I paid more than the base rate for. Good to see this appears to be resolved with free breakfast inclusive for all rates. I would have had a coffee in the morning... if they didn't use Illy beans...

it is a nice apartment with very friendly hosts. The room air-conditioning needs attention otherwise everything was well taken care of.
