Excellent location, in the heart of Vico Equense, close to many bars, restaurants and shops. The host was extremely nice and helpful. Large room with comfortable bed, good air conditioning. Private parking.

Villa Scaramellino was in town, close to restaurants, shops, train and bus stations. Breakfast was at partner hotel Domo 20 and it was amazing. They also offered free shuttle to their hotel and back and free shuttle to train or bus station. Breakfast was amazing. Staff at Domo 20 were fantastic. Mena who was on reception was great in her communication via WhatsApp. Such a beautiful person, nothing was a bother. Mario was great transporting us to hotel and train station. You could also use the pool and rooftop at Domo 20 if you wanted. Villa Scaramellino had kitchen but unfortunately no washing up liquid or sponge or tea towel to do dishes. Other than that everything was great. Thank you.

Lack of kitchen dish cleaning products and perhaps bigger coffee or tea mugs.

the property is in a great location, right in the centre of the town. breakfast is included but it is at the hotel at the top of the hill - so it is a bit of climb (or they will collect you if you need a lift). the breakfast is great with lists of choice. the staff are really friendly and helpful.

it would be good to supply a kettle (there is a pan and oven so you can use this to make coffee/tea) but a kettle would be better.

Full disclosure, we didn't stay at the Villa Scaramellino because the owners offered an upgrade to its sister hotel - Domo 20, which we accepted. Domo 20 is a lovely hotel, the staff are without fail helpful, friendly, and speak excellent English. The breakfast is lovely - plentiful and varied, and the view from the rooftop cocktail bar is sensational. Domo 20 is just a 5-10 minute walk into Vico Equense's town centre.

Would have been lovely to have a kettle in the room - we really missed having a cup of tea whenever we wanted. Although the walk into town is short, the walk back feels a lot longer because it is a heck of a hill. My calves still ache!

Location, room size, engaged staff

The location is very central. The staff is very pro active to make you feel very welcome and to help you in everything you need. The breakfast is very fresh and delicious.

The best location in Vico Equense, and in Sorrento premises overall. Specious room with high ceilings, attentive host.

Breakfast is served at the hotel, a 10-minute walk away. But breakfast is very good actually.

We stayed in the double room at Villa Scaramellino. Everything was perfect thanks to the thoughtful and energetic service by Dario and Ima - a warm, hospitable couple. They drove us to Domo20 for a delicious breakfast on the terrassa, to the station for our trips to Monte Faito, Sorrento and Capri. They looked after all our needs. The central location is terrific; the room is very spacious and comfortable. Our only problem was with the very poor wifi. Thank you! We love you! We'll be back! Arrivederci ❤️🌺❤️

The wifi: Often, not available, and when it was, impossibly weak

The room was beautiful and spacious. The bed was very comfortable, the AC worked well and silent. It is located in the very center of Vico Equense with all the necessities close by. The staff was absolutely lovely, very responsive via WhatsApp and when there was a problem with water they have sent a plumber immediately.

Clean but not spotless (streaks on the shower walls and metal elements, dust on remotes and in nooks and crannies, stains on the couch). The room was not very soundproof. The windows were doing a good job keeping the street noise outside, but the door did not. You could hear your neighbors conversations and it also got very noisy very early due to the bakery on the ground floor. The room should come with a pair of earplugs.

Location of room itself was excellent (center of Vico Equense). Bathroom was very nice.

Slightly misleading as listed facilities/staff are located at parent hotel 10 minutes up the road. Staff communicative but almost too much so (via whatsapp) and immediate attempt to get you to cancel reservation through booking.com and pay them directly in exchange for free breakfast (again at parent hotel).

We liked that it’s located just along from Sorrento, easy drive, or train station 5 mins walk away, for trains to Naples, Pompei or Sorrento. Nice little bar just across the road, everything was within stumbling distance. Parking, is little tight, so don’t hire a large car !!! Breakfast we had in the room, but they do have a garden you can sit out to have it, weather permitting. Lena looked after us very well, nothing was too much trouble, as were all the staff we came upon. Vincenzo also picked us up the first night, as we had dinner in the parent hotel Domo20, and took us back.

Not the easiest to find, hidden behind big doors, but we got there with their WhatsApp. Kettle would be a bonus, although you can get coffee from downstairs if you ask.
