Everything was perfect! Great location, super friendly staff, excellent food, cosy fireplaces and great attention to detail throughout the hotel.

Stayed in two rooms, in the main hotel and across the road in the suites, for 5 nights. Both rooms were fantastic - Large, comfy beds and nicely appointed. The hotel restaurant serves some of the best food in town - we ate breakfast and dinner there. The SERVICE was FANTASTIC - all staff members are super friendly and willing to assist.

The atmosfere is great, both in the restaurant and on the beautiful terrace. Rooms are beautifully restored and the food is amazing. Above all the staff is great!

Nice sized room with a good location in the centre of Tulbagh. The room was hidden from the main street and felt safe.

The room, based on the amenities, styling and general comfort is not worth the price bring asked.

Staff helpful and obliging. Pear juice at breakfast wonderful and the breakfast mostly good.

Heritage room very small. No basin in the small shower room which was awkward. Dinner at the hotel was pretty dreadful. Both my starter of spring rolls and the main, spare ribs, clearly came out of a Checkers/Pic n Pay/Whatever frozen package and were microwaved and deeply unpleasant. The fish was indifferent but may have been cooked. Breakfast good but included leftover chips which were not nice. Small plunge pool murky.

Lovely location in the heart of Tulbagh. All round great trip, lovely staff and the restaurant food is delicious! Room was lovely, and regularly cleaned by staff. All the facilities were available and the pool was great on the hot days.
