I love Le meridian phuket. It was the second time I stayed at this hotel The hotel is a very nice location and amazing. The location of the hotel is in the place where the forest reaches the ocean and is very beautiful. The hotel staff are very kind and helpful, special thanks from Ms Aye and Mr Chaitas , very nice hospitality and caring

The beach is very nice , rooms comfortable clean and has everything I need, price is reasonable , massage is amazing !

Service at the beach is slow , food is average and at one of the restaurants there was live cockroache in the bread ! Hotel is in the old side and it’s time for renovation, also housekeepers left our room open two days in a row!

Fantastic selection of restaurants, and the quality and freshness of food was superb. the staff were just so lovely, professional and polite. The pool area was so relaxing, easily hours spent there doing nothing! I wouldn't want to book anywhere else if I come to Phuket again

The location and the beach and kids club are fantastic. No mosquitos around as the hotel was going heavy on pest control. However overall we felt that we paid 30-40% what it is really worth for the below issues (they are all in previous comments and were not addressed by management).

FURNITURE : the hotel’s furniture is old and not well maintained. The bed frame was broken and a piece of wood was glued back in a strange manner, the bathroom door and many wooden furnitures across the hotel need some urgent varnishing, the bathroom’s silicon needed to be replaced…these are maintenance issues that are not acceptable in a 5 star hotel where clients pay 300$/night. ROOM SMELL: strong smell of mold in the room. Strong smell of marijuana if you sit in the balcony in the evening (not ideal for families). The reception staff acted shocked when informed about the mold smell, offered to change rooms, which was exactly two floor above and smelled far worse than the first one. We declined and got a humidifier to help with the smell. PS: many people complained in reviews about the mold, I am not sure why the staff acted as if this was never heard of before… STAFF: Reception and breakfast (restaurant reception) need professional training, improve their English and use some common sense. It’s unacceptable to make families with young kids wait at the restaurant door for a long time just to continue taking notes (this happened every single morning so we ended up ignoring her and just going inside to get a table). Reception staff didn’t know how to get half or full boarded option and said we should check with tourist agency, this was beyond ridiculous as it could be clearly done at the reception or online on Marriott Bonvoy website.. we saw a lot of young staff going in and out of the hotel and it seems they are cutting costs during the high season by recruiting locals that are not that well trained while charging full high season prices to the customers..not cool! FOOD: breakfast spread was great and had many options to chose from. However it quickly got boring as was the same almost everyday. Many people complained about this in previous comments but it seems like the hotel doesn’t care to fix this issue. DRINKS: I didn’t like the drinks.

The private beach is stunning. The food was good and the pool deep and big.

Not 5 star. Noisy cheesey music till 10.30pm nightly. Old decor - 3?star at best.

I think the property has the best beach on the Island. It is stunning with clear water and a .stunning setting. Being private means it has a very special, relaxed vibe at all times. We never had any issues getting sum beds or to use the kayaks and paddle boards.

You aren't close to anything, so best to have a car but we knew that. We had to pay even more than we already had from a junior suite to a bigger suite to get a proper ocean view which did become quite expensive. Food and drink at the hotel is very expensive and the only resort I've ever been to of this standard where you have to buy water which isn't good in extreme heat near the beach / pool.

Fantastic pool. Actually multiple pools. Located in between two hills, right on the beach. The location and view was just fabulous. Was amazing to wake up to this view every morning.

We went for our honeymoon and it was just great. We want to thank all hotel staff for our enjoyable staying in La Meridian Beach Resort. Special thanks to Mrs Sandra for honeymoon present and advices for our exploration of Phuket. As for hotel I highly recomend it for cosy rest. Everything is very well organized. Rooms are clean and comfortable, cleaning was done every day and on time wich was suitable for us. We had halfboard, so every evening we were able to choose 1 of 4 restorants for dinning. Restorants had both european and thai cousines and wide range of alcohol/non alcohol drinks. Our meals was free and for drink we needed to pay additionaly. Swiming pools were cleaned everyday and not crowded so we enjoyed both pools and most beautiful beach I`ve ever seen. Also we wanted to make photo session on the beach for our wedding. We received great help from the hotel administration in all arrangments. Thank you very much. Hope to come again because we have really nice memories of staying in this hotel.

Die Lage ist aussergewöhnlich und die Unterkunft obwohl auch schon ein paar Jahre alt in perfektem Zustand.

Obwohl der Staff sich sehr Mühe gibt, sind die mangelnden Englisch-Kenntnisse manchmal doch ermüdend.

Отличная локация , хороший отель , не новый , но для нас это было не главное! Завтрак каждый день один и тот же , но очень разнообразный,но если проспишь до 9 утра , то попадешь в очереди в столовую )

The 10% service charge on each meal/drink , PLUS an empty slot for an added tip, which made us question whether staff were getting any of the 10%.

The hotel was in a fantastic location on a stunning private beach. Facilities were excellent and rooms were very comfortable.

Some of the staff at reception were a bit unfriendly but overall nothing bad to say.

Wir hatten die Suite mit Meerblick. Was für eine traumhafte Aussicht und die riesige Terrasse - Wahnsinn. Das Wetter in dieser Bucht schien mir auch besser zu sein als im inneren der Insel. Der Sandstrand war fast weiss und ganz fein. Die Lage ist super, mit dem Taxi in 10min in Patong, hier ist die Hölle los, Restaurants, Bars am Laufmeter.

Das Buffet am Morgen war nicht ganz so gut wie in anderen Hotels. Das Essen im Hotelrestaurant überteuert und nicht gut. Die Drinks überteuert und null Alkohol - was für eine Frechheit. Die Zimmer sind zwar renoviert und somit alles in Ordnung, aber alles im 80er Jahre Stil, dunkel braunes Holz, Stoffsofa von der Großmutter, etc., nicht so der burner.

We loved everything. Perfection till the last detail. Very kind, helpful staff. Extremely vigilant and taking care of even the tiniest detail. Always making sure to do something extra for you, a honeymoon decor, birthday cake, complimentary snacks, drinks delivered to your room etc… The facilities, the rooms, cleanliness, everything was top. Never had such a pleasant experience in my life with any hotel. There is literally not a single negative side to staying here.

It’s a great location with a private stunning beach. There are a few swimming pools and we never had a probably getting a sun lounger. The staff were friendly and helpful.

We felt the hotel didn’t embrace its Thai location and they were trying to be more European. Serving an international buffet for the meal with a poor selection of Thai dishes. The food was definitely one of the most disappointing parts of the hotel. We stayed half board but were surprised when we got our bill at the end of the stay as not all the food served with the buffet (the bbq food outside) were not included so we were charged extra. I would recommend eating out and not taking the half board option which is costly and not worth the money.

The beach is really beautiful and well kept. Breakfast was nice. The location is very good and the staff is very cordial and sweet

My toilet flush was not working properly. The phone line had a lot of disturbance. One day Indian breakfast was not good. The south India medu vada was very hard and I shared the feedback with one of the staff member also

The beach was nice and clean, all the swimming pools were spacious and clean . Quality of food was good

The golf driving range was below par . Hotel should have provided a free shuttle service

The property is beautiful and spacious large rooms with a magnificent view from our balcony the private beach was lovely and beautiful blue waters to swim in and extremely clean
