Preis-Leistungsverhältnis war gut, das Zimmer war recht gut ausgestattet mit Safe, Klimaanlage, Ventilator, Badbereich mit Dusche und das Hotel war gut gelegen in Colombo Fort in der Nähe von der Railway-Station und für meine Bedürfnisse gut erreichbar. Freundliches Personal und angenehme Abwicklung im Bereich Check-in und Check-out. Gern wieder.

Ich hatte ein Zimmer mit Balkon gebucht, was letztlich nicht so zweckmäßig war. Wollte man die Balkontür öffnen, war es doch sehr laut vom Straßenlärm draußen, eine Sitzgelegenheit war auf dem Balkon nicht vorhanden, der Ausblick auf andere Gebäude war nicht so mein Fall, was natürlich Geschmacksache ist. Bei einer nochmaligen Buchung würde ich eher ein Zimmer ohne Balkon buchen, auch was die Sicherheit in einer Großstadt anbetrifft, da so ein Balkon auch mal vom Nebenbalkon betreten werden kann.

The hotel is very accommodation. We arrived at 10AM in the morning and they checked us in right away. Our request for a late 5PM check out was also quickly approved when I contacted them online after booking our room. They even made up our room when we went out on our check out day. Overall, the staff are all very patient, friendly and helpful. There was a dispute with the price difference which though wasn't resolved to my satisfaction, I still commend the staff for their professional attitude and patience throughout the dispute. The triple room I booked came with as a twin with a comfortable fold bed. There was both air conditioning and a ceiling fan so the room temperature was comfortable. The coffee/tea area is practical and well stocked and they top up the coffee sachets upon request which is nice. The bathroom is spacious enough and the towels were fresh. There is a water dispenser in the corridor by the lift dispensing both hot and cold water. Location is good with the WTC directly opposite and food a minute away. You can easily walk from the railway station and the Dutch Hospital is just beside the hotel and Pettah market a brisk 10 mins walk away.

Below are not complains but observations. This is more a local businessman's hotel and not so much a tourist hotel. So if you are looking for a modern swanky hotel, this is not it. The hotel lobby and general area needs to be spruced up- it looks haphazard and unwelcoming. But the rooms are decent enough.

The hotel is very close to the Colombo Fort station and there are many restaurants and cafès in the neighborhood. People are very kind and ready to help, especially Faraz at the reception will try to accomodate all your requests, always with a smile.
