Sometimes problem with hot water

Most of staff were very nice.

Overall everything was dirty. The comunial toilets were very dirty, even though I made them aware of it. The kitchen fridge was full of out of date products and uncover meets, such as chicken. No great, as cross contamination on other guest products was inevitable. Salmonella is not a myth. My bedroom was very small, if I open the foldable table I couldn't move from one side of the other and it wasn't any place that I could to hang a towel or any shelves for your hygiene products.

The location of Hostal San Gines is excellent for people wanting to stay close to El Charco.

In my opinion a lift would be the single biggest improvement.

Lack of property in the bathroom

The location is at the center of Arrecife, the staff is polite and speaks many languages. The room is ventilated and the bathroom was quite large. Lots of storage 😀 The roof terrace is an amazing place where ro chill early in the morning or at the sunset

You may struggle to find a car park nearby (there is one uphill, 5 minutes walk). As a solo travel, I could have given a double bedroom with respect than a room with a two single beds.

The roof terrace is very nice; it has 2 levels and plenty of space. Reception is open 24h and has good and polite service. The room has a bathroom with a shower which was nice. Beds are comfy and the room is quite spacious.

The town of Arrecife is not a very touristy location.

The kitchen with kettles and fridge freezer was central and sociable so we met other travellers . The rooms were self contained with a fridge each The roof terrace had a good view of the lagoon and we sat up there in the sun

The beds were not too comfy or warm . I stayed in several rooms over my time there and some showers were better than others /I found the 3 flights of steep stairs a challenge .

Nice and clean place with amazing area.

There wasn't enough hot water that is really weird for such a big place. The locker from the door of the room was little broken - I all time wasn't sure if the place was locked or not.

Only a small fan in the room, shower room was a bit cramped.
