We stayed on the dinner, B&B option and it was good value and quality. The staff were so lovely and able to accommodate a specific request for my 1 and 4 year old which was not included in the buffet. The hotel room was lovely and my daughter particularly liked the curtains opening when you entered the room. We had drinks at dinner, pool bar and at front bar and all were really nice and drink prices reasonable for hotel and quality.

The fact the pool was indoors so we would only stay a few days.

I expected more from a 5 star hotel. It was like many 4 star hotels I’ve stayed on. I decided to book this hotel because of the spa, but to my surprise, children were not allowed and I was travelling with my daughter.

An exceptional variety at breakfast. The reception staff were accommodating and provided us with a map, directions to bus station and daily towels. Room was clean and tidy. Nice extras, such as water and body wash were refilled daily.

Some of the 'hot' food at breakfast was cold. We also thought that access to the spa's facilities should have been free for hotel guests (understand that massage, facial etc would require an additional charge) We also asked for a 'quiet' room' and were placed by the road side. One evening there was constant beeping and car revving, lasting for over 30 mins.

Service. Viewports are very dirty. Comfort. Very unpleasant aftertaste after a visit. There are a lot of hotels on the island that are much more worthy, with a more comfortable price.

Lovely reception area. Breakfast was first class as was the bedroom and the staff cleaning the bedrooms. The location was perfect for staying Arrecife.

There is a lovely bar on the first floor with a great area to sit and have a drink, which remained closed for the week we were there. On the 5 occasions we tried to access the 17th floor restaurant/bar twice we were met with a barrier stopping entrance. So, on a Saturday evening at 8pm there was nowhere to have a drink in a supposed 5 Star hotel. This was despite being told on arrival that booking was unnecessary for the 17th floor bar 🤷🏻‍♂️only the main restaurant. Not being Sun bathers, the lack of sun beds and space outside was not an issue, but guests were complaining re this. “ Not as good as it looked in the brochure”.

there were only approximately 28 sun beds on one balcony for such a huge hotel. also only one bar on the 17th floor which probably took 65 visitors. you had to queue to get in and it was open to anyone which made it very difficult for residents The meal in their star restaurant was really not good

Would have liked the option to be be able to make the shower private from the rest of the room!! Would have liked English breakfast tea and milk available in the room The room was too hot and the air conditioning was insufficient for cooling the room.

It’s central location, not in a resort but a living city - the carnival was taking place. Yet still has a pool and sun deck, and close to a beach, and the pedestrian/cycle way you can take traffic-free all the way to the outskirts of Puerto del Carmen. “Intercombiador” subsidiary bus station is close by for cheap and easy travel. Lovely food (but the evening buffet could be served earlier). Our 11th floor suite was a knockout.

Stunningly designed as it is, our suite only provided 1.5m of shelving pp for our clothes and footwear and 1m of hanging space for us both. The full length window between the shower and spacious bathroom is a clever way of providing natural light but at the expense of privacy for a number 2. Also light from the bathroom shines into the bedroom, disturbing your spouse when you rise in the night. Would have included a photo but my wife was taking a shower. A curtain or blind would solve the problem.. You get to know your fellow guests intimately in the busy lift. It stimulates conversation!

The breakfast was the absolute highlight – freshly baked pastries every day! The spa is also a must!! So relaxing and felt completely rejuvenated after going. Reception were extremely friendly and have loads of recommendations/brochures for things to do.
