Room was modern and clean. The sink was one of the biggest in Iceland. Bed was confortable.
Easy self check in. All the common space seemed recently renovated, plenty of space to have breakfast or lunch.
Easy and large free parking next to the entrance. They guy at check out was kind and welcoming.

This was my first time in Olafsfördur and at the Northern Comfort Inn and my expectations were exceeded 10x over. The rooms are great, the amenities are modern and cozy, the coffee is free and flowing, and the activities are abundant. All is included, from the billiards table to the free kayaks and équipement to be utilized at the stunning lake the property sits on. The owner is pleasant and helpful and conversing with him was another highlight in and of itself.
I would highly recommend staying here whenever you find yourself in this charming northern town.

We loved everything here. The ability to use the commercial kitchen, access to washer and dryer, location, friendly owner, free coffee tea and hot chocolate 24/7. Beds were comfy, bathroom floors were heated. A 20 minute drive to Dalvik if you’re there for whale watching. Really good value for money. Awesome place - stay here!

The check-in was very easy and the room was nice. It was very quiet and the free coffe, tee and hot chocolate were a pleasent surprise.
The plates were not as clean. There was no stove or sink in the kitchen. It was just a dining room with a microwave, toaster, refrigerator, a kettle and cuttlery with plates.

Cozy and clean room. big window with mountain view. Really nice staff. Access to coffee machine and whole kitchen (possible to use all equipment they have, including fridge, toaster, microwave, stove...). Easy check-in.

This was by far the cheapest stay we had in all of Iceland. The beds were comfortable and wide, the view was excellent from our room, right over a lake and valley. We even had a private bathroom with shower. Big breakfast hall. There is also a pool table. Good wifi, self check in with a code to opennyour room.
There is no sign on the outside of the hotel, so we were not sure if we were at the right place. From the outside the place looked like it was abandoned long ago, but the inside is quite nice.
The bathroom is tiny, you can shower and sit on the toilet at the same time, but for these prices, I don’t complain about that.
