Great place, quiet, clean, great location and parking

The owners are very active outdoor folks and so you're in great hands if you're looking to get out and about and explore the amazing nature surrounding Cuenca. The place itself is situated right next to one of Cuenca's 4 rivers, and so as a guest, you're enjoying the calming and relaxing white noise produced by it. The apartment I stayed in gave access to a kitchen and cabinets and so this is a suitable place for longer stays. The 2 adorable dogs were a pleasant presence being away from my own canine.

Nothing bad but good to be aware of: one of the dogs is quite the guard and so whilst he makes sure you'll feel very safe, his barking did keep me up for some time. Nothing a few earplugs can't fix though!

Great value and location on the river, easy walking distance to the heart of Cuenca. Upstairs rooms are charming.

Room felt dark and would benefit from fresh paint to lighten things up.

Apartment had one bathroom and two separate bedrooms, a small living room area, and a small kitchen area where we were able to do what was necessary for our kids. We traveled with two kids under the age of 2. Hot water in the bathroom was perfect.

The apartments are by the Tomebamba river, but you cannot walk alongside it. There is a small patio area in the back where you can see it. To go in and out at night must ring the bell, and depend on someone else to open the garage door. Since the parking is limited, if another car needs to leave you must move your car around.

Great staff, clean. River runs behind it. Lots of greenery around the property. Cozy common area. Parking. Hammocks. Safe place.
