Probably the place to stay in Canberra

It was the best experience from the moment I walked through the doors. You walk through the most comfy inviting bar/cafe area to get to the reception desk. Check in was very smooth with free sparkling wine on arrival and a complimentary lolly bar. The room was amazing with a free mini bar and other free facilities you can order to your room. The staff were all so helpful and friendly, and the bathroom, bed, lighting and ambience was curated perfectly. Although the room I had was small, I felt so totally at home but also luxuriously pampered!

The rooms and hotel decor were great. The bar and restaurant served nice food. Room was very comfortable.

No parking available. Had to drive around the city and look for public paid parking. The alternative recommended by reception was to use the Wilson’s parking at $30 per day.

Good very poor. Breakfast wasn’t worth talking about. Free breakfast for an extra $100 and we were left starved. No pastries only fruit and when we got down for breakfast all eggs and mushrooms gone both mornings!

Great ambiance in the lounge/bar. Clean rooms. Tastefully decorated hotel in general. The free mini bar was an unexpected plus! Very close to the lake and a run/workout. Good breakfast and very friendly staff.

Could have been higher up in the building - the rooms on Level 1 are rather dark. No other complaints :-)

Ovolo thought out every little detail to make the stay comfortable and stress free, the little messages throughout the room and the free mini bar just topped it off l. The customer service was exceptional everyone I spoke to was so polite.

You could hear a lot of noise especially at night whilst in the room, you couldn’t hear people but a lot of like rattling noise. That was the only down fall

Room was dark and quiet - good for sleeping. Free snacks/minibar.

Felt grubby - carpet in corridors dirty; hair in bathroom sink. TV in our room had problem with volume (kept self increasing). Room was tiny and incredibly dark - felt dingy in day time (but good for sleeping).

Everything was amazing. Loved the vibe, loved the choice & range of lighting, stylish, attention to detail in furnishings & decor & build. So lovely to stay in an interesting hotel that challenges all your senses but is strangely comforting at the same time.

Almost slightly too dark for someone with sight challenges. I found this aspect quite difficult. Rooms very small.
