my families first time to Bali. 2 adults and 1 child. the staff were incredible! the customer experience manager, Demmy was so accommodating and planned hassle free day trips for us. we stayed in the villas and had access to a butler. 10/10 recommend!

The rooms are more than 600m away from lobby and the doors locks aren’t working and the room service was too late

Resort itself was lovely, staff in the restaurant were exceptional, particularly the guy with the glasses and tattoos, he really went out of his way to get to know all the guests

Very pricey for what it was, particularly given how few guests there were. The emptiness meant there wasn't really any atmosphere. Most of the accessories for the room were missing. Beach wasn't appealing.

Great pool facilities. The rooms were large, and the beds comfortable. Great breakfast variety.

i was shocked. I have been upgraded, way up without the the receptionist even telling me. I was definitely a nice surprise. ordinary room into junior suite NOT ONLY THAT I received a handwritten welcome note, the housekeeping put flower saying thank you and human shaped towel showing gratitude after a tip. when I checked up, hospitality manager asked my experienced and inputs of better service. When I leave 2 manager said goodbye. I never felt appreciated in any hotel i have stayed around the world. highly highly recommended. home away from home (quotes from the front desk Manager's note)

I like everything there best hotel in Bali 2 minutes from the water activities the Basket breakfast was perfect in the pool the room is very clean. I want to say thank you specially to Evan and Demmy who they take care of me.

That I couldn’t stay for longer

Our stay was amazing from the moment we were pleasantly welcomed with a frangipani garland and welcome drink. When we checked in our room was upgraded which was kindly appreciated. The location is quiet and peaceful, rooms are spacious and beautifully decorated. We didn’t arrange breakfast at the time of booking although we paid extra to grab breakfast at the resort we were kindly welcomed and the breakfast range was a perfect combination of delicious foods. Staff member Rini was especially welcoming and gave us some tips and places to visit and took the time to get to know us which was lovely. Demmy was a pleasure to talk to and gave us plenty of handy information and even went above and beyond to ensure our stay at The Sakala was perfect. He even helped us to get a driver to assist us to our next hotel. All in all a very pleasurable stay and I will definitely come back.

I've never been to a better resort. I must admit that when Mr. Evan, the front desk agent, greeted me, I was both amazed and grateful. My wife and I just had some negative experiences in Nusa Penida. But what made us even pleased was Mr. Evan's offer of a welcome drink as soon as we got to the resort. The thing that most surprised me was that Mr. Evan gave us free afternoon tea and free Balinese SPA services at the resort. Additionally, as we had a flight at 6 o'clock, we asked to extend our check-out time to 3 o'clock instead of the original 12 o'clock. Guess what, Mr. Evan let us to stay until 3pm without charging us. Even after we checked out, Mr. Evan stopped by the hotel lobby to say goodbye and give us a gift. There is no doubt that staying at this resort was wonderful. I would most definitely recommend it to others, and I'll be back. I hope the resort can maintain its excellent level of service and even get better in the future.

Overall is good, but there are some tiny matters that the cleaner might miss out during cleaning. I found this bottle with water in the bathroom, I didn't know what it's for but I saw some dead larvae in the bottle. It's a mosquito larvae, I believe the bottle was left open before this and that's why mosquitoes were able to lay eggs. Hopefully Hotel management can look into this. Other than this, the resort is a great place to stay 🙂 .

good large rooms

definitely a little TLC needed

The rooms were a great size, loved how nice and comfortable it was, plenty of storage. The dining room and kitchen were also great , very clean and tidy.

The air-conditioner wasn't that good. We had to be moved to another room, and the mini fridge wasn't cool enough .

i liked that the property was very central and clean.

The room. It more like an apartment instead of hotel room. so spacious with all the top pf the line in room facilities. The Staff also amazing. the front office team and the Fom gave us free upgrade room since we are a genius member on booking.com

No service whatsoever. Zero porter service, no cutlery in room, murky water in the villa swimming pool, cockroach in room, hotel did not even turn on aircon at the beach restaurant!

Nice and quiet Location, close to all amenities ( Foods, local shops, easy access to beach. Also alongside lots of family activities and things to do like - Watersports, riding on motor bike alongside beaches and good quality food everywhere .
