beautiful cottage and lovely yard

It was a very quaint, quiet cottage, home from home. It was great to hear birds twittering in the morning. It had everything we needed. It was very comfortable and great place to relax and have a holiday.

Great location for exploring the cotswolds, owner was really friendly and let our 3 year old have a sit on his tractor. Nice butchers down the road, and little shop allbeit a tad on the dear side, great big playground in walking distance which was handy, the pub tite inn was also a beautiful visit. Defo recommend the cottage for a break away in the cotswolds, fire was a lovely touch and the cottage was well equipped and spacious.

The low ceilings were a bit tricky as it created a bit of a problem with the beds not being able to go up against walls with our young child it was tricky but we took turns to sleep in with him. The cottage is lovely but very dusty in places so could be a problem for people with allergies, obviously its a cottage and old so wont be spotless and we understand that. Was a shame we couldnt get out into the back garden, think it was owners private garden but the extra outdoor space would’ve been enjoyed by our son however was allowed into the private field and he enjoyed meeting the chickens and riding the tractor! Would love to see some tea coffee milk and sugar supplied as an extra touch aswell as the wine. Checking in at 5pm was quite difficult with a child but understand its due to cleaning.

This cottage is just perfect. My kids said it is straight out of Beatrice Potters book. We loved it. Comfortable beds, very clean, lots of utensils. We loved it.
