I loved being in a very quiet location. The host came to meet me on arrival, but then left me alone, which I liked. All the basics were provided in the kitchen, including some freshly made scones with cream and jam. I was only in the property to sleep for two nights, so didn't have a chance to enjoy the surrounding beautiful countryside. Comfy sofa to sit on and work or watch tv. Everything was very clear with good instructions written down. Warm and everything that you needed was there. Good shower and plenty of space. Great parking right outside the door. Lots of space to take your dog out for a wee before bed with an automatic light and torches provided. Well planned and thought out. Would definitely recommend! *****

The bar stalls need to be oiled!! Ha Ha - only a slight complaint! The noise that they made scared my dog :) I thought the description on Booking.com didn't give it enough justice - the photo implied that you were in the middle of a town, not a rural location. It was probably too good for me to stay on my own, but it made my trip! I'll hopefully be back.

Directions to the actual property prior to arrival would have been helpful as it is off a side track with no signposts.

The location was quiet and peaceful and the sunrise in the morning was visible from the bedroom window. Absolutely stunning. The host was friendly and delicious scones, cream and jam were waiting for us when we arrived. The cottage was warm and cosy with everything we needed. We had a perfect stay with our little dogs.
