Lovely rural location with easy access to Berkeley, Slimbridge, Dursley and other nice places to visit. Simple cottage - ideal for a couple with young children plus another couple. Separate kitchen, dining and lounge areas. All lovely and clean.

Confusion at the time of booking about the bedroom layout, which the agents couldn’t clarify. The bedroom arrangement means that it only fits two couples and two young children as there are only two separate bedrooms and an alcove off one which can accommodate children.

It was a really beautiful cottage. We found the location was stunning and the garden was so relaxing. The house itself was quirky but typical of an old cottage with tight stairs and low beams. The kitchen was fabulous and we spent most of our time in there. We enjoyed the seclusion and the peace.

The only negative was the low beams and banging my head, but that it was you expect from a very old property.

The house was damp despite all heaters being on on hot sunnyday. Bed was lumpy and sheets smelt of sourness and damp.

The cottage is deceptively spacious inside, plenty of room in this charming and cosy cottage. Good sized kitchen with dining table and well equipped, separate large dining room, cosy comfortable living room with sky tv, upstairs very spacious master bedroom and 2 very good size further bedrooms, lovely bathroom with bath and separate electric shower that works v well, The pretty garden is large, and fully enclosed so perfect for our 2 dogs, and has a large table and chairs. The cottage is an annexe to the main farmhouse and livery yard, very quiet location with 2 pubs a couple of miles away and the town of Berkeley with convenience stores, cafes etc. Fully recommended.
