The place is quiet, and pleasant, close to town, so easy to get food or just go out for a good time

Our AC was leaking all day, we complained and were told it could only get fixed the next day, which was the day we were leaving. The Cain chairs outside were broken, bathroom wasn’t maintained well, as it used to be. Breakfast was average

This was my third but unfortunately last time at Olma! Where should I start...All 3 days I only had cold water! I asked them to sweep and mop the floor as it was dirty and sandy from the beach, they moped the living room but not the other rooms and the sand was still in place. Very annoying! Even more annoying was the fact that the pool was cleaned DAYTIME!!! for almost 24 hours, this makes NO sense! When I asked why, I got no explanation and furthermore NO compensation! The place is expensive enough as it is and then to not have a pool nor proper cleaning just makes no sense at all! All the pillows around the pool were stained and the kitchen has very little supplies. Seems like the owner just wants to make money but cares very little for the place! Last but not least important: the Wifi is ALWAYS horrible, it never worked once for me!

Tried a lot of hotels in Accra and I prefer boutique hotel like this. The environment is serene at a nice part of Osu

I tired this place, because I got a good deal. However, I was not happy about mold in the bathroom shower and that I could not open the windows because they had no mosquito nets installed. For a place of this category a disappointment. Considering that they would usually charge around USD150, you will find a much better value for money in other Hotels in Accra

Some parts need some fixing, it is a bit old, which also gives it its charm.

So this hotel has a great and amazing location and the rooms are really large. I also want to give special recognition to Ben at the reception who honestly did his very best accomodate requests. The seating area outside is also nice but could be better mantained.

Unfortunately, the hotel decor is terribly outdated - at least in my room. It is as though there has been no investment in the hotel since it was built which is a shame as the concept is nice. There was rust in the shower, the shower had no tiles, a musky smell in the room in general with little flies, cracks on the wall and really old furniture. Even with cleaning, the place looks pretty old - the owner needs to reinvest to make it nice - so it is at least up to scratch with other properties in the area.

The compound of the hotel was amazing. We really enjoyed the pool and the ambience. The rooms were spacious and the hotel had a good location close to several restaurants and the beach was only a few minutes by car away.

The initial style of the hotel is modern but rustic. But the beautiful dark wooden furniture is now being replaced by white Ikea closets. Generally there are a some spots in the room that need updating. The towels for the pool were not offered, which meant that we only found out about them after a few days using our room towels. We still had to ask for them daily as nobody offered them. The breakfast system should be better developed. Every morning we were woken up by knocking to be asked when and what we wanted for breakfast. This could be done the night before or by note. Unfortunately, there is no breakfast area either. On one day there was no milk left, which was then brought in an hour later. The drinks in the room were not regularly replenished either. The wifi didn't work from the beginning, no matter which of the many different ones we were logged into, so we got a small router the next day. Apart from one of the staff, hardly anyone smiled. Especially the night access was silent because the gate was locked and the security man, only after a long wait and shouting unfriendly opened the gate. The rooms have no room numbers, so it often happened that people mixed up rooms. The door to the staircase was right next to our room, which was not only noisy, but also constantly confused with our door. All in all, it is a nice hotel that could improve the overall experience a lot with small changes.

The location, the decor, the pool, the room were all great.

No internet in the room but we were finally provided, thanks to Ben, with mobile wifi which saved the day.

I would recommend to improve the breakfast cause it’s basic second, a small bar around the swimming pool would be appreciated

Olma Suites staff are professional and polite. The facilities are clean and well maintained.

This is my 2nd stay at this property so i must’ve liked it enough to come back. The best things about this property are the staff and location. All the staff were great but a special mention for Derick who went out of his way to assist me with even topping up my phone when my data ran out. The location is absolutely perfect. You’re in the heart of Osu and within walking distance of lots of restaurants, bars, clubs and coffee shops. It’s easy to get around and Oxford Street is also minutes away.

The property itself and the surroundings (flowers and trees are truly beautiful) and very tranquil. What fell short for me and this was my experience from my previous stay is the lack of maintenance of the interiors. I have included some images. It’s such a shame for a great property not to pay attention to the small details because those make a good property amazing. The table in the living room had seen better days. A shower head which was leaky and ended up wetting the bathroom and took a day to be replaced. The welcome information booklet with the binding falling apart. This is a colonial style property but the interior lack the charm you’d expect and instead the rooms look tired and dated. This all adds up in making a place like this ok not great
